It looks so much better. I have an 80s XJS with a similar shade of bland tan that I desperately want to dye black like this. Looks like tons of work but worth it.

Looking awesome Vin! For the roof, you could have done dynamat or the foam you used and a carbon fiber plate or try to find the same fabric as the middle of the ABE seat?

No brand is above being a used older car with dodgy repairs. It just hurts more with high dollar brands.

Another great video. Nice to see someone trying the dye. So many nice cars with faded interiors out there. I still like the exterior color but I know you are set on changing it.

I’ve been wanting to die my e92 bmw interior has the same kinda cream color and I fucking hate it doing all the trim in carbon soon just waiting on my epoxy to show up but this gave me a lot more confidence I’ve been watching a lot of vids and knowing that you did it on your Ferrari makes me feel less bad about doing it in my bmw😂

Most people who own Ferraris don't work on them. This is more of an example as to why it is INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT to buy vehicles that you know you can work on, because your money won't buy you respect - and it shows in the lack of respect that your things get when you hire someone else to work on them.

@GuruMarcus22 сағат бұрын
@@vin_tra Surprisingly well.. Done in 2021.. 911/964 you don't really relax with your elbows on the door panels so zero wear there.. The cream is coming through on the gear shift gaiter with it creasing multiple times being a manual! Asides that, at least $8k Cheaper than reupholstering it - Front seat covers with embossed Porsche logos cost around $1000 + 1 Litre Dye, De-waxer & Sealer $100 ish - Sprayed mine with canned air and an airbrush!😃..
