Come on boys and girls! Put your EV charger at the top of the panel not the bottom: 1. Voltage Stability: The circuits nearest to the main breaker (typically at the top of the panel) may experience slightly less voltage drop, as they are closer to the incoming power supply. This can be beneficial for delicate or power-hungry devices that require stable voltage levels. 2. Power Factor and AC Noise: Sensitive loads, such as EV chargers or other high-demand equipment, can be more susceptible to noise and power factor issues. Placing them near the top of the panel reduces the chance of interference from other circuits, which may introduce noise or harmonics into the system. 3. Load Balancing: It’s also good practice to distribute high-demand loads evenly across the panel to avoid overloading one side. However, placing sensitive loads higher up can help in maintaining better overall system performance.

Regarding the Redi sealant used for the Redi flashing…Can I use this Redi sealant on the heads of cement backer board screws??? Or should I just cover them with thinset?

NOT a great way to do the hatches! A better method is to do the hatches first and leave a 1/4 - 1/2 inch lip over the edge of the hatch where you can, this provides a clean square edge either by a virgin board with only the tongue cut off or a nicely clean cut piece. If the hatch is slightly out of square, which most are not you may have to sand the edge slightly flush to the hatch. Then butt your adjacent pieces against those edges with a thin piece of poster board as a spacer to allow some even space around the hatch. Once you match the floor around the hatch the edges will be very clean and look much better than using a saw, grinder or vibrating saw to cut open around the hatches. Hatches are a necessary evil within boat floors but you can make them look much cleaner than this method.

Not a great way, but nothing has shifted in 3 years and I don’t even notice the 1/8 cuts I made. People that see it in person love it since it blends into the floor.

using them as you speak, walls come in 2 weeks for foundation/ basement! also keep in mind if you like high ceilings its less than a $1000 per foot height. i started with 8' for my basement an quickly went to 10' when i found that out. wanna say it was $830 per one foot higher wall

We wanted 10’ ceilings but the problem for my house was distance and weight. The crane was able to do so far and the 10’ walls would have been an even bigger issue. I’m very happy at 9’. I have 10-18’ ceilings in the 1st floor which is making me busy going up and down ladders, lol. Good luck with the install. If your prep is good, you should be good!

This is the same dealer my 2019 Sprinter has been to 4 times in the last 4 months. The Def system constantly having issues. Just got it back from them saying that it needed some module update. Now the ac blows only maximum hot air all the time. It's gotta go back again!!!!! This diesel V6 is the most reliable engine ever before the DPF system was added. I have another sprinter with 300K. Only issues were the DPF system. Repeatedly. They have an extended blue tech warranty for that system, so it's fixed free every time, but the down time sucks.

Its all about pipe preparation. Not even taking in the cost of the fittings, those plumbers who spend 2-3 K on a batt. operated pro press tool find it hard to admit that it is not the best, even if you can get the same result with a shark bite. All about prep.

What a piece of gold this video. I plan to do this type of niche for my own house. Since I don't have as much experience, I'm simply not going to make it as complicated. What is your suggestion? Mosaic and then just cut in with large tile on the flanks?

To keep it simple, just use very simple tile for your wall and accent. This was not easy. Measure 3 times cut once here. 😂

Can these be used in Europe? Minimum pain: The battery can be charged by any existing USBc charger, so no additional charger needs to be carried and we can use battery packs. Medium pain: Charger needs a plug adapter. Max pain: charger needs a transformer.

If I may ask 2 questions…first..would you use redi-poxy on the area just above shower pan tile as prep for where wall tiles meet pan floor tiles? 2nd what thinset would you use on cement board walls to adhere 4x12 marble tile?
@TodayIWorkOn
@TodayIWorkOn 12 күн бұрын
Before thinset, that was the way I did it. Approved thinset that will not bleed into the marble. Marble is natural and porous. Remember that. If you are ok with the way the marble will change color over time, go for it. If you are concerned about it, go with a ceramic/porcelain tile that will hold up much better. I love marble in a lot of places, but the shower is not one of those places where it will hold up well.

Installing a 30" floating vanity now. You are right, the plumbing is an issue and not all the dimensions are given ( the rear opening). I am going to have to cut a rear support to make this work. And yes, the top doesn't snug to the wall.
