It wasn't Mach 20. That's the high end. the feat was more around mach 10. All Might scales to a Deku who outsped Lady Nagant's bullet which was consistently calc to be Mach 100 which is a lowball.

Both arcs having different styles is the exact reason why for great comparison. It’s like a team with a great offense going up against a team with a great defense. As for pacing I scaled both arcs to around the same length when i was analyzing them

@Tobikads Just writing in general. There are a bunch of issues with jjk in terms of the character arcs. For jjk it expects us to believe that Yuji is just like Mahito. Although this is a hype scene, it makes little sense. We have no reason to believe that Yuji is like Mahito. Yuji saves people since he can understand it is the right thing to do. Yuji saves people bc it's what his grandfather would want. However, jjk ignores all those details to attempt to have "deep scene". When in reality, it destroys Yuji's character arc. He even acts as if his actions have no purpose, and his actions are similar to Mahito. Curses kill people. Humans don't kill curses. The foil and parallel make no sense. When you compare that to Hunter Hunter and how it develops Gon and Meruem, it's not even close

I also think shibuya incident could've bennifitted from having an more normal shonen arc before it where Like the main three just win. Always kind of felt like such a turn happened too soon but I guess it's just a fast story in general

Couldn’t really talk about that as much as I wanted too delving into how special the story telling of chimera is could be its own separate video. I did allude to it when talking about how amazing the character development is in chimera. Trust me the stuff with komugi moves me a lot.

I’ve heard opinions like this too. The reason why I don’t necessarily agree is because of gege’s writing style. He’s very straight to the point and cuts no corners. You might not necessarily vibe with a mangaka’s writing style but I’ve learnt to accept it if they’re consistent with it.

I think Netero’s fight outclasses any JJK fight buy 2 or 3. JJK fights are so condensed, if it weren’t for the animations and good voice acting, don’t think they stand a chance against fights being more meaningful compared to HxH

@@Tobikads to be fair if the show also came out when jujutsu Kaisen did their fights wouldn’t even hold a candle to it. They were limited what they were capable of doing back in the day. They have AI that can do it in a week just keep that in mind Hunter Hunter is the goat. No show stand a chance.

@@Tobikads my main issue is pacing. When Kite fights Pitou and Gon flees with Killua I thought they'd return fairly quickly (for an anime). Instead they start a training arc. All the while Gon is crying about how he wants to save Kite or how it's possible Kite is okay. But they are training for so long it doesn't make any sense that Gon believes it's possible Kite is alive. If Kite was alive, he would've returned well before they finished training. Like 3 episodes took place in the span of 1 second too😭.

Im sorry but out of all the arcs in HxH chimera ant arc is by far the worst, there is way too much narrator dialogue that nothing really happens in an episode. The other HXH arcs were just better, how creative greed island was, how memorable the phantom troupe were, and how the characters met at the exam arc.

These players still need to enter a colony and declare their participation otherwise they will experience technique removal which is death. That's why Megumi wanted to bring Tsumiki into the barrier, otherwise she would die before they even started cooking up a plan to save her. As for Yuuji, yes, he was to be induced into the culling games. What chapter 157 was essentially saying was that Yuuji was born already a culling games player. That's why he had a kogane before even entering a colony. IT wouldn't work for him because it's only job is to remotely awaken the sorcerers. It doesn't declare your participation for you

I understand what you mean, it’s speculation on my part though as to why he might have a technique. It just seems too convenient that a person conceived to be a player for the game doesn’t get a technique. Like it kinda defeats the whole purpose of the game. It’s another thing if he was a regular sorcerer that had no ties to the game to begin with like Megumi. But that’s not the case. Yuji did join the games before he awakened his CT though. Thats why I said I believe he got one the same way Takaba or higaruma got one. I even explained how similar the awakening process for him and higaruma were. I also gave other reasons as to why he might have a technique.

@@Tobikads I don't think it makes sense to compare a child Kenjaku conceived himself for reasons we are yet to see to Higuruma. Yuuji was born to be Sukuna's cage and for all l intents and purposes by CG rules, he qualifies as ancient sorcerer not a modern one. There's two types of sorcerers Kenny created. Those with cursed objects and those with awakened techniques. Why are trying to make Yuji qualify as both when he was made to be a vessel/cage

Yup there’s definitely missing pieces to the puzzle. It’s possible yuji might qualify as only one type or both. But until we get the full context, it’s fun to cook up some theories and speculate on what’s gonna happen. Convos like this are fun, where you get other people’s perspective on the story
