A lot of typhoid and cholera fans here in the comments. Folks who had to actually deal with these diseases were thankful when a life saving public health intervention like chlorinated water came along. People are so lucky and yet so ignorant.

PFAS is the number one cause of cancer worldwide - the're the none stick / waterproofing for product wrapping that coat just about everything you buy and are today contaminating 90% of the worlds domestic water storage, milk storage, even wrappings for butter and wherever moisture is an issue - but its worldwide and people are dying from it as its carcinogenic.

No one’s going through all this advertising for nothing. If the city properly collected on the water bills we wouldn’t be in a deficit. Companies owe hundreds of thousands and millions of dollars that is the city fault in the first places now tryna sell to fix a debt problem
@user-tw4mk9cq9v9 ай бұрын
Makes you wonder why a business, whose whole model is to make money, would buy a failing business for more than it's worth? Doesn't really make sense to me.
@justjae81879 ай бұрын
Because it’s not a failing system one well is a problem and it’s been turned off. They know what they are doing as they stand to make a killing off of that sale trust and believe no company would invest in something that they couldn’t profit from
@FergH0va9 ай бұрын
So, the first two years rates *WON’T* go up and then incrementally after that? That’s a different promise than what’s been said before.
@user-tw4mk9cq9v9 ай бұрын
Interesting how they use the term "rates" because they are regulated. What they will do is add additional "surcharges" which they have done often in the past. Just wait, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Can the survey be updated to separate the material types into groups… Needs replacing / Does not need replacing? And within those groups, respectively Lead / Galvanized Steel and Copper / Brass? My service line material is either copper or brass so I was forced to choose “other” and provide an explanation as to why.

After watching a late night show host(Tyrus.) make a statement about the train strike and the importance of them, because most of its moved around the country by trains.😳 So had to do some research. Cool content. Very informative.

They're climate conscious, and dont know where their tap comes from. Driving lithium powered EVs, to the convenience store for a single use plastic bottle of water that was trucked from another town's water source. Thousands of miles away. Then the plastic gets in the ecosystem and stays forever.....

Dialysis patients have their blood filtered by the chloramine. The chlorine part kills living organisms including your red blood cells. The fish absorb water directly from their gills and so fish owners will dechlorinate their water that handles the chlorine. However you are now left with ammonia which will kill fish. People who drink water on the other hand have stomach acids. Even the kid has strong stomach acid that is able to neutralize the chlorine and ammonia in our stomach. Our body produces ammonia via our liver/kidney and flushes it out of our body via body waste. So ammonia is a natural part of us. The chlorine gets neutralized by stomach acid and we are fine.
