Careful on 20 foot containers. Our regional safety guy said a driver with 13 years experience flipped over going 10 mph doing a u turn in a yard.

You make more if you can keep the chassis for several moves. Sometimes might have 5 chassis in my name out there getting loaded or unloaded, then it's pick up this load, drop it, get a load or an empty in the same trip in the yard, drop it, and either pick up another chassis or go get one of the other ones getting loaded or emptied, and keep them juggling :)

Would u as an owner operator stand out if u purchased ur own 20-40 conversion chassis? Would u be able to eat better off them? I always thought about that but never got a good answer. Can the companies even dispatch u like that as well?

At this point if you leasing or an owner operator, youre pretty much making money for everbody but yourself. Truck payment ,trailer rental, fuel, insurance, maintenance, dispatch fee and percentage, lumper, broker cuts, ridiculous late fees, eld fee, expensive food, etc. And no profit left for the driver
