That thing about 4 clicks and holding it to open is too much work. Other brands do it in a much simpler way. Also, 5.000 miles? That seems so low! I am used to change the oil in my current car at 20.000km intervals.

Ya its just programming for safety I'm sure, and the manual says you can go 7500, for oil in right elements, but dealerships would love to see you sooner. Thanks for adding!

@@JamesOrtonVideo in a VW you just press and hold and it opens doors and windows. It's like that since 90's and no one ever complained about it. Just as a reference, my 2009 Citröen changes oil every 20.000km and that is nothing. Newer cars can go for 30.000 and some even more... The absolute minimum anyone will recommend with fully synthetic oil would be 15.000km

The 600 pound elephant in the room, that most people fail to mention. The thin paint, that is susceptible to chips and scratching. Even though, you pay extra for some colors. Mazda appears to save, yet charge, for paint that has about half the density of some other car manufacturers.

I was skeptical when it was being introduced, but now I dont mind it at all, and for how many potholes we have to dodge around hear I am pretty satisfied with how tough it has held up, some bumps are pronounced but its a packaging thing where mazda had to be thrifty and put energy into the interior, thanks for adding!

The mirrors are not attached to the door because the doors are removable. You still need mirrors when you take the doors off. To prevent the door from hitting the mirror, just roll down the window and push the mirror back into place.

I just bought one last week for the 0.92% for 60 months. You need good credit to qualify. I would say it's a grocery getter and very very light off road.. .maybe grave roads. Interior is very nice compared to something like a RAV4 but I think the RAV4 is a more capable off road vehicle and it has much better fuel economy. RAV4 LE (base) gets 30.5mpg I owned one for 4 years before buying the CX-50. RAV4 also has more cargo room. The connected services is free for 3 years then it costs $10.00/month. Also remote start will shut the car off as soon as you get in so you need to start it again. Cylinder deactivation cannot be turned off as well. You also only get 1 free oil change the rest you need to pay for out of pocket even when the car is under warranty each oil change can cost unto $120.00.

I just bought a 2021 CPO. This one has the turbo and I love the car. I change my oil at or around 3,000 miles. I have the issue and Mazda has me booked for new valve stems. Kinda reminds me of my 1996 Mitsubishi eclipse by burning oil. I’m 48 now so maybe it’s time to get a Lincoln lol

@@KoDeMondo We have a ‘19 CX-5 NA. Fantastic car. No issues in 5 years of ownership. Uses zero oil(Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5W20, every 4K miles).Runs smooth as silk - can’t tell the engine is running when it’s in gear at a stop.

The most important thing is since recently the beeping and the lane assist you need to switch offupon each start. I have mine 5 days and amready to leave it on a railway crossing I am hating a car I just got new where I always enjoyed cars bought second hand.

What I also read is that you can add it to favorites but as far as I can see it only adds contacts, adresses and radio stations. I will spend another evening looking for solutions. Imagine buying a new car thinking you will be trouble free for a while 😢

@@Niex_Knox yes its safety, im in them all day, they can be annoying but also to keep you out of harms way, I have full time deactivated my lane departure, unless its pouring rain and its hard to see the lanes or lines in travel, you wont be able to save to favorites, just our newer models have some of those features of saving more vehicle functions to favorites, best wishes and safe travels!! Thanx for the fast replies. Tried the app but it does not have such features. Maybe a country thing I am in the EU. I can however lock doors and see how much fuel I have from indoors I feel much better now. The favorites thing not working is a bummer. My last hope is someone who can work on the software or I may resort to blinding the camera. It is just so annoying, I can imagine situations where it helps but I just hate it vigorously. It feels like I am launching an airplane as I go through all the "unchecks" before take off.
