Another thing is for newer skaters to watch their directionals when skating back on the blocker who is on the line.

I learned so much from her during the clinic in Kansas City. This has helped me a lot.

Demanda & Liza taught an amazing footwork/blocking class at Rollercon. One of the drills I've racked my brain trying to remember; the grape vine type drill? It was geared more for those who have a harder time opening their hips..... If they feel like sharing it, I know I would greatly appreciate it.

I've had multiple refs watch this and they have all said they would call a forearm penalty.

Love it! Any issues with forearms, back-block or elbow calls? I guess if you are good about keeping your arms in tight, hit only with your shoulders/upper arms, and impact their arms, you should be good.
