That has to be one of the most perfect Giulia videos. It’s a truly amazing car, I’ve been driving a Veloce for the last three years. But, it’s the most unreliable car I’ve ever owned and, if you live in the south-east of England, you are going to suffer with the worst main dealerships imaginable. When this car is running well, it is a thing of wonder. But when it goes wrong, you go down a rabbit hole of delays and incompetent dealers.

Only race mode will keep the valves fully open at all times, unless you get an exhaust valve bypass module.

I hope they let you buy it in the end

I had an Alpha 156 Sportswagon. Nice torque and sweet optic. But an assambling from hell. Everything went lose or got gaps. Improve your knowledge about Spaltmaße. I would not recommand this brand.

Fantastic spec, could've used the carbon fibre roof, but couldn't care less if it was handed to me for free. What a special opportunity, as you've said, not only to get such a car for a year, but to make it yours on top of that. As for the exhaust, obviously it would be nice to get that Akrapovic since that's not on you then, but every cloud has a silver lining - I think there are plenty of much better options available on the market. Personal opinion ofc, but I don't think Akrapovic exhausts produce that good of a tone. Only a few more years and this car will be 10 years old but imo it still holds the title for one of the best looking sedans out there, if not the best one.

Just picked up a 24 Carbon Edition. Your break-in period of 1000km is interesting. The manual only suggests 500km of normal driving during which "brief periods of full acceleration contributes to a good break-in." This was surprising to me as my last Giula Estrema also required a phased 1000km break in. Since I've hit 500km in the QV, I've been doing brief full acceleration in Dynamic. Haven't driven it in Race yet though.

They say that 94% of all Alfa Quadrifoglios ever made are still on the road. The other 6% made it home.

Those tires have a really bad tendency to aquaplane. I’ve heard many stories of people totaling their QVs from this.

I own a Giulia Veloce from 2022, actually looking for Giulia QV but i want that one before face lift - the old ones are looking mean and aggresive. New facelift is just unification and lazines - same in Stelvio, similar to Tonale... nah for me. Whats good in facelift - rear lights. It looks like already tuned car with dimmed glass. And yeah, Sparco seats are nice but not heated so in winter it is a bit irritating.

This is a common misconception - QV doesn't have a Ferrari engine (it's not the California one with two cylinders chopped off and all the other theories). Just do the effort and read one of several interviews with the head engineer standing behind QV project Philippe Krief to get your facts straight.

Great looking car. Love the steering wheel, red start button on wheel and large paddles. Great wheels too. Really making me think about this car. Given its Alpha Romeo Svizzera origin, I see a video in Ticino with ample shots of that Montreal green against the grey stone houses of the Versasca Valley.
