Some complications...this HurRain water generator appears to be the same unit marketed as the Solaris Watergen so maybe HurRain went to/became Solaris??? Other problem is that: while an atmospheric water generator seems like a good idea, the Solaris youtube video does mention that it SHUTS DOWN and is not operating below 35% humidity. So I am sitting here in Amarillo, Texas and the humidity right now July 2, 2024 is about 33% so the Solaris/HurRain?? will not be making any water in this or similar or perhaps even more deserty type states (Arizona, New Mexico Nevada) or areas of the world. Manufacturers do not seem to want to tell you in what low humidity their units will operate and the time to generate water at even 50% humidity as mentioned by the Solaris owner is very excessive-something like 48 hours for the Solaris/maybe HurRain to evidently generate just a minimum 10 liters or so-ouch!! So I presently have a filter setup I will have to stay with as atmospheric water generation wouldn't seem to be a dependable workable option in this type area and climate.

I completely agree with the sentiment that this company fails to uphold the quality of their product. The zipper is utterly subpar! Issues arose within the first month of use, and in hindsight, I should have taken advantage of their six-month warranty at that time. My wife bought it just two months before Christmas, So it wasn't used for two months and by the third month of use, the zipper became completely unusable! I strongly advise against purchasing anything from this company because their lack of accountability means they won't rectify any issues. A zipper should definitely last longer than three months, and a reputable company with a customer-centric approach would swiftly replace it as a gesture of goodwill. It's disappointing that such a seemingly simple item, made of cloth and employing old technology, can't be crafted to last. I have hoodies that cost a fraction of the price and have lasted over five years without a hitch.

Honestly, they are doing well with the men’s hoodie design, but they need to do some more R & D work for the women’s hoodie which is still new to their product offerings. The cuffs are too big-the Velcro is too short for the snugging strap to tighten down enough to keep the sleeves in place. Women have smaller wrists than men. For me, the arms are just barely long enough to reach shoulder to wrist, so the lack of full adjustment to snug the wrist creates a problem. The waist isn’t tapered quite enough. If I go with a larger size, I may as well just buy a man’s hoodie, because I’ll be swimming in it. If I go with a smaller size, most likely the arms will be even shorter and my shoulder movement will be inhibited. This hoodie could stand a thumb hole at least he cuff to keep the arms from traveling up. Otherwise, it is excellent at keeping the one out and warmth in.

Do NOT stand behind product!! *Baerskin Hoodie* I am having a horrific experience with customer service and this company standing behind their product in regards to a quality issue, ie. damaged product upon delivery. The issue is with the Hoodie 3.0 that I purchased on 11/23/23, upon the product’s delivery, in a STUFFED BAG, I noticed a rip in the fabric at a seam area, which as everyone knows, will unravel with time and washings. I reported the problem immediately. The issue has STILL not been addressed after NUMEROUS emails on 8 different days. I have invested not only the cost of the product, $100+ (arriving in a disturbing packaging style) but an extreme amount of my time and energy with this company over an issue that could have been easily solved weeks ago, in time for Christmas. Needless to say, a quality, undamaged hoodie didn’t make it in time for the Christmas gift I had intended for my husband, requiring it to be replaced with another item. They will NOT even entertain the request for a refund. Still no help in resolving the issue, over a month later! What ever happened to ethical standards?

How much? These companies say we can save the world with this tech..... if you have a billion dollars to buy one. Why even show it in other countries when the individuals there cant pay for it. I seen these unit go from 1,100 for 2 gal up to 27000 for 200 gals that is only if your temperature condition are right why not just dig a well if in the USA then they dont offer financing on cost. Why not make a unit for about $300-500 if your only going to get a few gals out of it anyways.

Their website has a tiny blurb at the top that said this was expected to launch in January of 2023. That is over six months ago. There has not been a social media post from this company since December of 2022. It appears this project is dead in the water. Too bad they didn't make it to launch because it looked like for once someone was trying to sell one of these for a reasonable price. As others have pointed out, this is a humidifier plus a water filter with some bells and whistles. It would be easy to rig a diy version up, but this is a nice all-in-one package with the added UV and and water circulation. Where most of these companies try to screw you is on the filters. How does this one stack up? I checked their website and in the FAQ section they stated a set of filters for water and air last about 1 year, and a replacement set is $60. That actually seems like a pretty reasonable price. I am interested. Haven't run across a unit price though. The only thing of that I can think this thing is missing is the ability to have it send overflow production to an external tank or 5 gallon water jug so you aren't having to manually intervene. May not be needed though if it is as good as they tout because it would then be used daily for all drinking/cooking.

These are usually called air conditioners. 😂 These “magical” water making machines are nothing but water cooling condensers. The electricity to extract (not generate) water from the air cost hundreds of times what the water costs just to buy it. You also have the filters and the task of keeping the unit clean. It works fairly well in high humidity areas but in dryer, desert like air, they are horribly inefficient. Bottles of water cost about 8 cents in bulk. Tap water is many times cheaper than that. The ironic part is that if you have it in an air conditioned house or office, your AC has removed much of the water all ready and your inside air is likely below the 35% humidity needed.

i don’t think anyone is saying this tech is new, but the name simply follows the function. the components all need to be produced so the water extracted is safe for consumption, so the internals are different. it’s the same tech as a dehumidifier, not an air conditioner. the amount of electricity you need to run them amounts to pennies per day. in fact, it can be created for LESS than the cost to buy. some of these costs less than $2/day to run and will produce up to 8 gallons of water.
