1991년 대학2학년떄 지금 혜화동 대학로 ' 미친잠수함' 이라는 뮤직비디오를 틀어주는 음악카페가 있었습니다. 초대형 스크린에 꽤 음향도 좋은 시설로 기억합니다. 그 때 처음 이곡을 들었을 때 슬픈멜로디와 기타솔로에 큰 감동을 받았었습니다.( 1984년 live ) 이후 종종 이 곡을 찾아 듣곤 했었는데 십수년만에 갑자기 생각아나 유튜브에서 검색을해보니 댓글을 다신 분들중 저보다 젊은 분들이 꽤 많으신 것 같습니다. 젊은 분들께도 이 곡은 아름답게 들리는 것이 감회가 새롭습니다. 평생 음악을 해왔던 사람으로써 정말 이 곡은 명곡 이라고 생각합니다.

I'm pretty sure I was in the audience that night. I was blown away by the musicianship. Andy Latimer's guitar playing was, for me, in the same camp as Steve Hackett - delicious, technical when necessary and always full of feeling.

This is supposed to be mind blowing and make people just not shut up about these guys? It just goes to show, non-musicians think this is the best and most complicated thing they ever heard. Steve Vai will get bored with this quickly.

Is this Keith Carlock on the drums?

It's the opposite of meandering. It is about as calculated as you can get and the chemistry between Fripp and Belew, not to mention Levin, and Brufford is just.. legendary

Just saw Ray White perform this last night. He still got it.

It's a shame they never got exposure as much as Pink Floyd. I'm not comparing but it feels wrong they're not exposed to the wider audience of progressive rock fans. Andy Latimer is the greatest guitarist on earth hands down what a performance I just witnessed

I'll take a guess at this being a KZfaq channel operated by an American, as you have the broadcast day wrong, the correct date is November 12th 1982, So the DVD perhaps gave the date as 12/11/82, done European stye which is Day, Month, Year, but being in the USA or Canada, you read it American style Month, Day, Year.
