Question about usage of these courts - what happens if someone comes by and asks to see if they can play? Does the 30 minute rule apply even though you have other players from the same group 'waiting' to play? Not hating, just wondering how it works or what the best practice is Unless this is a booked/reserved court!

In this situation it's a replay, no matter how both parties feel. If both can't come to an agreement replay is the only way to go. It's only a loss of a point for you only if there was a system in place to review the point (like a challenge) or a referee's call (due to hinderance by calling it was 'out' causing the opponent to stop the play). Unfortunate for the opponent for sure - but that's the game for this kind of tournament - just sucks that it was on a tight match point, and really Allan you really thought it was out so there was nothing they could do.
