When you always use soooo many notes in most of your chords like he is known to do, your chords start to sound too similar to each other. Any explanation that he does here, as interesting as it may sound, end up in a result that sounds almost the same as many other chords that he uses.

Renaissance music is similar. Voice leading is more important than any particular "chord progression"

One small remark. This will be never performed alive as it is written non voccaly. ITs impossible to sing this. Every choir singer professional will tell you just by observing notes. And to be frank his overharmonic couloring makes every single song completely same in sound. Its boring to the death. Its genious - but in one single dimension which is overstated to the point of nonsensical.
