Just learned to make strokes without sounding scratchy. It’s gonna take me ages just to learn the bow strokes of the violin. Violin is so beautiful and the ability to play violin so beautifully is nothing Sort of miracle and beauty… love how effortless he makes it look

It's encouraging that they sound worse on the recording of the recording than on the "live" takes. That is, they actually sound better than the recording, even if the recording has useful feedback. That is, the recording does take something away... or adds something undesirable.

you should hunt a cat and gut it, clean the intestines and stretch em slowly, by hanging it, preferably in a basement, where there isnt a dramatic change in temperature. Now strecth em and twist em till ya get the pitch you need, roughly, tie it to a peg and your good to go

I'm gonna offer a rule of thumb: if you needed someone to tell you to plug it in and turn it on-don't even touch the EQ. Just put it in the middle and leave it alone.
