Hi folks, a few weeks ago, I watched Stone Hook here on KZfaq using a copper pipe to make some incredibly deep notches on an Andice point. To be honest, I felt like a newborn with a rattle. I'll be re-watching Stone Hooks video and getting some leather that will elevate the point better. With a little practice, I think the copper pipe punch is a great tool to have in your knapping bag. Glad that you finally got your casts. Great choices! To me, the Tribute points and that particular style of Holland points are perhaps the most aesthetically pleasing of the many point types. Everyone’s opinion will vary on that of course.

Hi everyone, Well, this one gave me a little trouble. Normally, when I'm bifaceing and run across one that's a little dry, I toss it aside to be heated a bit hotter. In the end, we came out with a perfectly usable stone blade, but the surface could have been cleaner, and we could have retained more size had it been cooked a bit higher.
