Whatever Mitch prefers but personally, I prefer high-pitch Mitch. He sounds like a fun, approachable guy who will have your back. Menacing Mitch on the other hand sounds like he might shank me when I got my back turned. 😂

Its so sad that males and especially women have to have a certain kind of voice to feel empowered, that people are more focused on how its being said instead of whats being said. Women having a deeper voice is like trying to to be a bit more similar to men. I have a genuinely soft feminine voice but i have felt this myself at work. Its really sad

I pick women up on video chat websites without even showing my face. I greet them properly, point out their best feature(s) and have a genuine conversation from there. Usually within a few minutes they melt and offer their contact info without me asking. They ask me to help them through... things... I don't think I have a great voice, but am told constantly how amazing it is.

That is not my problem. My problem is that I feel like I'm speaking loudly, and everyone else says that they can not hear me. When I try to speak louder, I am often accused as yelling.

Ugh I think Scarlett Johansson’s voice is SO ugly . She herself is beautiful, that’s the only reason men find her speaking sexy. If you put that awful voice on an unattractive woman *nobody* would say it’s pleasing to the ear . Angelina Jolie has a nice voice tho, I do agree w that one , but not w the British accent that makes her sound more masculine to me. Her voice in an American accent is sweeter and higher and sounds much better to my ear. . I also think a more modernized version (ie more subtle) of Marilyn Monroe’s voice would be beautiful . And yes I agree w the last lady, she has a nice voice

Haven't watched it yet. I used to have a deep voice, but after adopting guinea pigs (I do baby talk to them), my voice has gotten higher pitched. I hate it. When I talk it sounds annoying, and not like my own voice, it sounds like a stranger's voice, and it's really stressing me out.

The question I have that I'd be really curious to know the answer to- if people have a blocked up nose sound, it means that certain sounds have to let air through the nose somewhat. But do I understand correctly that vowels and plosive consonants, for example, should not have any air/sound coming through the nose in order to have a clear voice? If so, the question of singing which is also affected by all these happenings... Can we modify levels of nasality? Aka not just have soft palate fully closed or open, but partially? If not, how do people get only a little bit of so called nasal resonance in singing ?

I don't know why people keep doing this, but "nasally voice" is incorrect, "nasally" is an adverb, it's "nasal voice"...
