Let me mention this: Dido has skill damage taken reduction and also reduce rally skill damage which is completely useless against this commander! And biggest thing is Dido reduce 40% target defense and this commander removes it and become immune🤗 Scipio really counters everything

Have to disagree, scipio tariq has a lot going for them, massive total damage, strong skill damage and smite, 30 health and def if rally pair, and yes, smite tree wont benefit tariq as much, but his 15 total damage ( snite and skill boost) plus rage reduction ( add smite tree rage reduction….. there is enough synergy

Ending the game is a perfectly logical consideration. The new cav commander will come to the game in about a year, so for at least a year the cav player will be significantly weaker. If someone says to play infantry, I will answer that you need equipments and armaments that the player will farm for at least a year. So either endure it, or give this game a year break, or say goodbye completely.

this is a must have, the aoe shield for allies will be huge impact, one people one wallace , can mitigate a lot damage, thus reduce wounded and stand longer in field battle, it is very significant, imagine all people 100+ people using it, if one shield hit can mitigate 1k damage, 100 people using at the same time can mitigate 100k damage at one time, and maybe wallace can active say 10 times shield before he is routed back to city, its so much impact on the field battle

Hear me out. If you run 2 inf marches as part of a murder ball, your optimal pairs will be: Wallace + Gorgo, Scipio + Liu Che. You can of course plug holes with Alex, Guan or Sargon, but top two are the ones I mentioned above.

Unrelated to keybinds but how do i get the little help mini button above the Alliance button? i can't find it anywhere in the settings, it's annoying to have to bring up the Alliance pane to help every time (and sometimes the help requests don't even show up in the Alliance pane, i have to go all the way back to my city and click my alliance center to help lmao)

As a veteran RTS player, here's how i use the "formation"aka Create control group keys (Ctrl+ 1,2,3) : Select all troops -> Ctrl + 1 to assign everything to 1. Control however you want but keep using 1 to select all marches until one of your marches get very low then select that march, press Ctrl + 2 then press Return to home key. Now press 1 again and this hotkey will contain all your marches except the low marches that you just sent home. This mechanic is called "Create Control Group and Take Away Units" in sc2. I'm from 1188 and I've used this throughout many imperium kvks and always achieved great trades. This mechanic is also very useful for baiting enemy's marches into your murderball since some people still play on mobile or have poor micro and they just attack whoever on the field without pulling back.

WW fits intobthe current meta much better. Most people run rwo cav marches and thet are cracked already. Hard to justify brwaking that up unless its for a compete monster.

William's active skill if someone is attacking you is 2400+300=2700 smite. Because this is smite, it is more powerful than skill; less smite damage reductions than skill damage reductions out there. William does not need to be surrounded for the 300 to activate. This was shown in Omniarch's clip of william's skill animation.

LC + Alex and Wallace + Gorgo could be very interesting

The only thing I think might make him stronger is that 40% boost on LC skill, but still we gotta wait for test. If he is skippable, good for me gonna hoard more GH

Literally what i was thinking, as a guy who uses 2 inf and the strongest cav and archer march I'm not that excited about WW. He just doesn't bring much difference to my murderball. He does more dmg than Alex but that 30% dmg taken debuff from alex expertise is just so strong while ww doesn't bring any debuffs. And he has no aoe. I'm more inclined to get Huo and pair him with YSG or Mehmed which will benefit more bc my hermann P poison. I'll say this, ww talent tree is the strongest if I dare say so myself but that's about it😂

If WW is way way better than Alex fine but if not it’s hard to justify benching an easily and often expertised commander for a brand new one. I’d rather build my other marches up

I disagree with you, but I liked how you broke down each skill in comparison to Beli P to back up your take. I believe that WW with LC or even Gorgo has strong potential precisely because of the boost from the Smite tree. If LC and Gorgo didn’t exist, I would agree with you, but both commanders are already strong, especially LC. Now, adding the damage amplification from WW along with the Smite tree makes it easy to see why infantry players are excited.
