The more I find out about the companions through dialogue, the more I start to wonder if all of them are synths. Out of all 16 companions 5 are synths. Curie, Decon, Danse, Nick and X6-88. It's even said in game that some synths don't even know they're synths. So how do we know that Kate, Thaddeus, Garvy, Piper, Henry, Strong, McCready and Gauge aren't actually synths. With that said how do we know that Dogmeat isn't a synth as well, cause it's even said the Institute made synthetic animals. Ada and Codsworth are already Machines so they're ruled out. 🤭
