My favorite Open Mike of all. Just such a humble, self deprecating bloke who doesn't push his own agenda at all in this. Seems very happy with what he achieved, where he is at, and takes responsibility for some things that went wrong. A fantastic insight into a player that didn't really speak a lot publicly when playing.

He didn’t see the real Carey in 2003. He definitely isn’t shy. This was after the incident at north and he went to a new club and was reserved. Was also shot as a player at that time. But at North he was the leader of the whole team off the field and the most extroverted.

Those shorts were horribly uncomfortable. Made of nasty cheap nylon they were constantly giving you a wedge, and they were so tight, apparently to ease movement, they were embarrassing to wear.

Modra generated a lot of income for the Adelaide football club and in return Modra was treated like garbage. If Adelaide treats its players like this they deserve to be at the bottom of the ladder.

Hard to understand that he was there investigating how Clinton Grybus hurt himself in his home and deduced that Clinton was sleepwalking. Then to know, before Nixon had even answered the phone, that Clinton had died. Also, happened to be holidaying near the very coroner that processed Clintons body. Really coincidental! Too many coincidences I think! Some lies told I think!! Maybe other people involved in the circumstances Nixon portrayed in this interview need to be asked to get the facts of each of these events

What is VFL? is it the same as today's AFL? Used to watch this in the 80s in the US, seems like they used to get the ball down the field with 'marks?' more back then. And the guys in the white jackets confirming points or goals were a howl
