I think the first ladys dog had just laid an egg 💩 and she looked like she had an egg bag ready to pick it up 😂 I’m just getting into flying, bought a cheap one off eBay which I’ve only been able to fly inside yet, our lovely British weather is stopping me going on the green next to my house 🤦🏼♂️ I’m getting more confident with the controls with each flight, going from living room to kitchen and managing to avoid the door frame now 😂

I’m awaiting my second drone arriving, I bought my first off eBay for £43, it certainly didn’t match the advert so I’ve returned it. The one I’m waiting to arrive is a Drxon v168 pro (non gps) It has obstacle avoidance. I’ve read good and bad reviews about them. I was hooked as soon as I had a go with my mates son DJI Mni 3 pro. But I thought I’m not going to pay £500 when I’m a beginner. His son is amazing with the DJI
@driewiel24 күн бұрын
That Drxon v168 drone will be a lot harder to fly than a DJI Mini 3 Pro. The optical flow will only work partially. And the obstacle avoidance does practically zero. But people should learn to fly without GPS first. Or even optical flow or altitude hold for that matter. Real flying! A DJI basically flies all by itself. Well until things don't go according to plan. Then suddenly they're not that good pilots after all. Also I hope you didn't pay to much for that thing. It's actually a WLRC v168 and costs $49. Next time order from China. At least they are honest. Can't say the same about scammers on eBay or Jeff Bezos.

A Chinese built surveillance drone that you download with a Chinese produced app on your cell phone, what could go wrong? God only knows how all that could be used by the commies.
@caesarsride7329Ай бұрын
No you can’t find him because your drone has been banned. Your left with crappy American drones that couldn’t find a tree if they crashed into it.
@IslandDigitalАй бұрын
To fly at night I believe in USA we require Red/ blue to be visible for 3 SM. The colors built into the camera, do you think they are sufficient enough or should I buy Attachable led lights? Nice video , great job !
@rogerhargreaves2272Ай бұрын
Yea, it can vary. Headwind, tail wind, ambient temperature play a role in airspeed. Nice test.

Nice one. My Mavic Pro is very accurate; always returns to the Home pad.

I think the part you said you really enjoyed is just because you enjoy flying drones in general, this one is so so bad it can't even counter a light summer's day breeze. The quality of that camera is truly terrible... you can really see it with the comparison of the footage from your phone
@driewielАй бұрын
I think he had it in speed 1. It probably has a speed 2 and maybe 3. And the camera isn't bad. The video isn't stabilized. That's something else. Also all the video is on the phone as it doesn't have an SD card slot. If you search a bit you can find this drone for $70. Really not that bad. Although for $30 more there are now drones with gimbal+EIS and sd card.

Crikey! What kind of battery takes 5 hours to charge for just 10 minutes of flight time! That's insanely slow!!

My $400 Mini 3 can do the same thing... This wasn't anything fancy.
@driewielАй бұрын
For that money you could have gotten the L200 Pro Max with true 2k video, 2-axis gimbal+EIS, SD card slot. Way better. Some others too. Not that this thing is all that terrible. Did you have it in speed 2 (or 3)? The camera is OK for photos. And no a beginner should not get a drone with obstacle avoidance. Worst advice ever. You're talking DJI Mini 3 Pro or Mini 4 Pro. Too much money. And you learn nothing. Actually a real beginner drone is a €15 tiny whoop without GPS, optical flow, or even altitude hold. Not easy, but that's the idea.
@BazippysVideosАй бұрын
L200 Pro Max ive ordered one of these as a gateway into the hobby, ive been warned by many itll be awful and a waste of money (without actually asking what it is other then its not a dji so its crap). I really hope they are wrong because i want to see what its all about.
@driewielАй бұрын
@@BazippysVideos A DJI Mini is better. But the L200 Pro Max certainly isn't wasted money. Most people can't tell the difference between the video quality. Go to an open field and practice a bit so you learn what it is capable of. Land it couple times, auto return etc. I usually put it in speed 2 right away if there is a breeze. Don't forget to calibrate compass and to take the gimbal cover off.

It helped a little bit, not a lot. You'd really have to load that thing with branches, but then you also risk of an odd formation of green foliage that just doesn't go with everything else. What a great little drone. It had no issues seeing that truck at all.

I know you likely wouldn't have wanted to use it but, mud would have been your friend for hiding it from IR. It would hide that white color and would have hid the temperature of the vehicle. This video is a good gauge on how foliage can effect IR, clearly the more foilige the better if hiding or opening it up if your trying to be found/rescued. 👍

c'mon man we all know it can find a heat signature out in the open... do a proper test under trees, under brush, under thick scrub, plastered in mud, submerged in stream. You're rarely ever going to find a target just sitting out in the open like that and you know that as well I do. Be it military, hunting deer or Search & Rescue... we want proper tests!!!

Interesting and strait to the point/content. 👍 I've seen people using emergency thermal blankets etc to hide their heat signature from thermal cameras with both success and failure. You could certainly take this video more in depth and test various means of heat concealment. It would also show perhaps what to look for when a subject is trying to conceal themselves. Sub number 36 for you and I hope to see you pass the 1000 mark and on quickly.
