I thought in other sports A&T is doing alright, but it seems like football and maybe basketball is the main driver in support or no support for the move to the CAA.

It is simple, win and the noise will go away. The MEAC did this to itself, as they are not about pushing anything forward in athletics or academics. the new leadership was ready to bring in Chicago State, if they had football, which would had raise up travel costs.

Around the 1hour 21 minute Mark Craig hits it right on the head. The band can likely attend these events if pre planning is put into place. Again, the band books itself far into the future year after year, if you work with them and plan accordingly, we can have that super spring game event like it should be

Just be patient, we will be that NC A&T again!. However, as far as being a training ground for FBS schools, that's not changing any time soon as long as the current transfer portal rules are in effect. This is a new day and time and we have make the most of the this system. We need to take advantage of getting the best high school players we can get and not worry about them transferring later. We can also fill holes with some FBS players for which things didn't work out for them at the FBS level. We should also sprinkle in some big time D2 players.

It hurts me that Fanbases of HBCUs are saying we aren't a HBCU any longer. Or the Blue & Gold Marching Machine shouldn't be able to complete against Jackson St Sonic Boom because we aren't a HBCU. I read people's comments that say, "Why are HBCU Social Media Sites are talking about A&T, they aren't one of us now!" Then to see Delaware leave the CAA Conference. So many of my friends, including A&T Alumni say they aren't interested in seeing Elon, Richmond, Delaware, Maine, Towson St. They want to see Howard, SCSU, NCCU, Norfolk, B-C and FAMU.

Coach Brown cannot recruit quarterbacks, receivers and running backs without first hiring an offensive coordinator. If A&T screw around like usual and don't get one until next March. A&T football program will be screwed again by the Administration.

I think that Coach Brown was hedging his bet in Monday's press conference on the QBs. Coach Brown made it clear that he will recruit all players he thinks that will upgrade the position. So, Brown's mind is not set in stone that White or Brickhandler will be his starter next year and that's true for all the positions on the field. Very good programs don't stay pat over the off season on any position unless they have a very good/outstanding player in that position. Yes, there is potential in both White and Brickhandler but I wouldn't put all of my chips on either of them being outstanding next year.

I just know sitting in the reserve section for the last two years. Many of the people around me haven't been fired up or excited about the Big South or CAA Teams we played. The Students haven't either. Many of my Friends or Co Workers haven't felt motivated to come to games like in the past. They say it because the other teams don't have a band or lack of fans. Not knowing if they can talk junk to them like they could with a FAMU, SCST, Howard, B-Cook, NCCU Fan.

@1:10:00 Great suggestion by Semaj, to bring Offensive Coordinator Young out of the booth and down to the sidelines to help coach up the QB during the game as well as call the plays.

I believe this will make a big difference during the game. If NFL playcallers like Sean Payton and Sean McVay can do it from the sidelines, so can Chris Young.

Coach Brown is an outstanding defensive coordinator and has been for a long time. This explains why the defense is only half bad. Coach Chris Young used to be an outstanding offensive coordinator at Colgate but that was five years ago, then suddenly within a few months Young goes from being on top of the world as an OC to being a wide receiver coach at Elon. Something happened but that's Young's story. The fact is that Coach Young hadn't design plays, coach QBs, or call plays since 2018 and it's showing that effect. The next four games is OC Young's audition to stay the OC in my opinion.

@1:27:00, I don’t agree with Turner 1) majority of fans are just that, fans, they are not football experts so don’t get upset with them. 2) there are no easy opponents and games for this inexperienced coaching staff and team 3) don’t expect this team to get much better because there are not enough good players and the coaching on offense is below par.

I am going to relax and enjoy the rest of the season now that the team got their first win. Coach Brown had a huge smile in Monday's press conference. What a relief for him and his staff. I am going to back to my pre-season thought that this coaching staff and football program needs time to work things out. The Wildcats are not looking past A&T this weekend after getting their butts kicked last week. Doug is right, it's when you play these teams that's important. Kevin White may be the CAA offensive freshman of the year. I need this weekend's game to confirm it.

Very good show. Watching the show feels so much better after a win. The open week couldn't have come at better time for the coaches to do a re-evaluation of the football players and their offensive and defensive schemes. Coach Brown and his coordinators had to find players that match their schemes and find schemes that match their players. It just one game but what a relief for Coach Brown and his coaching staff not to have an 0-fer starring them in face.

I feel for Coach Brown and the players. Coach Brown had no idea his first season would be this tough. Not so much about the wins but how far behind the curve he would be, caused by the delay of putting together a coaching staff and hamstrung with recruiting all due to the administration. A win this Saturday is necessary for the psyche of the team and staff.

Why do you think Coach Brown's recruiting efforts were hamstrung by the administration? I get the sense they have been very supportive with everything he has tried to do thus far

@@BlueDeathTV 1) Coach Brown couldn't quickly put together his coaching staff because of A&T's long onboarding process therefore could not present them to recruits and players jumping ship 2) Brown mention all of his recent recruits have a 3.0 avg, which translate he couldn't bring in recruits that were good football players because their grades may be avg but not B avg. Two days ago, Deion Sanders thanked his outgoing Colorado chancellor for working with him to allow some players in that didn't meet the normal academic requirement and he stated so far those players have proved they can handle the class work.

@@BlueDeathTV I was very familiar with W&M football program when Coach Jimmye Laycock. W&M administrators had a mandate that their football players graduate in four years, so to support that mandate W&M administrators provided a good academic support program, paid for summer school and supported the coach through rough years to allow Laycock to have a very good team every 4 years. W&M offense and defense lines players avg physical build were 6'2"-6'5", 290 lbs. This is what Coach Brown wants.

I heard the word "patience" by Craig and a couple of other panelists. This year's recruiting class was sparse. What do you think the next year's recruiting class will be like, if this team goes 0-11 or 1-10? Is this another Lee Fobbs hire and fiasco? I asked this questions two weeks among a few of my fellow Aggies and they went quiet. I think Coach Brown is a way better coach than Fobbs but he accepted a job in which a bad situation got worse minutes after Washington was let go, weeks after the season ended.

Semaj is the only person on the panel who questions where the football program is going and for good reasons. Moving from the MEAC to Big South to CAA and maybe later to FBS cannot be just one man's dream, Chancellor Martin. It has to also be the Aggie Family's dream because this undertaking will need almost the full support of the Aggie Family and friends. Moving to the Big South may have been a good idea to Dr. Martin but it was a huge setback. The move took A&T out of the Celebration Bowl, $millions, the national limelight and disconnected its huge fan support. Imagine A&T vs Jackson St in the Celebration Bowl the last two years. The landscape of college football since the move to the Big South changed rapidly and was changing when A&T moved into a conference that was losing members. At this point this is not solely a Coach Brown problem, this is also a Dr. Martin's issue and his job to convince the fan base and communicate A&T's plan for this football program.

A&T Football Sqaud is majority Freshmen and Sophomores from what I notice. Very few Veteran Transfers like the Majority of other Schools. I watched a interview Coach Deion Sanders did recently said most the Schools including Himself don't want to bring in a High School Senior and build a team that way. Instead Teams will fill up their Roster with Veteran Transfers. While A&T is still doing it the Old Fashion way, Other schools are stacking their teams with Experience Vets. The sad thing is Once A&T Freshmen and Sophomores get good and build Experience, Bigger Schools will try to pluck them away from A&T. Sad!
