One side gets a prosecuter with a high salary and years of experience the other side must get a public defendant to take on government...yep, seems fair.

Even the bad guy has rights, and is owed due process. It is not wrong to defend a criminal in court. In fact, it would be wrong to deny that criminal an effective defense, because the state owes a duty both to the criminal, and to the rest of the people to prove that their case and any and all resulting punishment is true and just. Should the state fail to prove its case, it is just for the criminal, even if guilty, to go free. This is because the purpose of our legal system is not just to punish the guilty, but also to restrain the state against unduly punishing the innocent. You cannot simply cease defending the guilty. The moment you decide to stop defending the guilty, you invariably also stop defending the innocent because until their case is heard, and the evidence weighed, you can not often distinguish the two.

Not to mention prosecutors jobs are to prove you’re guilty. Some will dismiss charges when they don’t see a crime. Others will try to prove you’re guilty at any cost.

So if someone gets arrested for mass murder in Texas, they go straight to a "Prison" ?? I bet they ALL go to a state jail facility until the finding of guilt by the court !!

You have to say the words that you're going to remain silent without a lawyer present. And then don't speak. If you don't say anything, cops can claim you're interfering with their investigation. Or if you start talking right away and then stop, they can use your sudden silence against you. Just state that statement and remain silent!

I’ve had cops not marindaize me when I was pulled over but when my ex wife and her cousin decided to lie to the police and try to get me arrested I was called down to the police station to be questioned about said “crimes” well luckily for me before they made these police reports and the filed for restraining orders of which all where dropped because of the threat that she and him made before these reports where made and the cop even questioned that if I had done anything why would he still be talking to me up until he got a restraining order so yeah this is the sad truth they don’t always have to but they generally will do so just so that they cover their asses and the cop was like yeah sounds and looks like they just want to see you get arrested I didn’t need a lawyer for that interaction but probably would have done me better to have one anyways

There is an exception to the like force for like force. For instance a woman being attacked by a man who is obviously going to use fist to harm her may use deadly force to protect herself as she is going to be unevenly weaker. Likewise, and elderly person, particularly a disabled person who cannot reasonably withstand a brutal physical attack may also use deadly force. KnifeMaker
