Something to take note of, if you have massive gardens and the families of the houses are taking too long to harvest, families assigned to farm houses will help harvest when they do not need to work on their farms

You don’t have to make triangles nor make the lot so big, when u set the lot press the minus sign and it’ll situate more families onto the lot

Early game my peasants are always able to live off some berries and hunting. Just make sure to assign people at the correct place and time, like before winter just let the animals grow and pick up all berries.

I only make super big extensions when the plot is for non artisan jobs. Chickens and veggies grow passively. You don’t need a huge backyard as a blacksmith because it doesn’t affect productivity at all. Level 3 burgage plots double your family capacity. If you have the housing extension, it goes from 2 families to 4 on a level 3 upgrade.

Its funny because in East Europe thats how most villages are set up. Long skinny back gardens for all their veggies, fruit and some trees. It provides enough for the houses to sustain themselves but is also alot of work 😂😂😂

They just need to create / fix their anticheat. There's the same hacking problem in cs2 aswell, valve does not care. Yes bot developers will adjust to valve doing small fixes but at some point creating a functional bot will be so difficult that they'll stop.

Long skinny B plots require long "drop the harvest in the box" trips. More commute time. Less picking time than blobbier plots.

you dont need to make triangles, just make the fronts wider, if you don't like the point that it is anchoring on, put a road there and create a corner anchor spot, repeat until you get the burgage with the extension.

It is if you do a bit of bare-minimum planning. Just don't build exclusively those kinds of plots unless you're housing standard laborers and make the artisans on small, single-family, chicken coop/goat plots. Problem solved.

You dont need to make awkward shapes for 2 houses, once u select the plot of land u can hit the minus or plus symbol to increase or decrease the amount of burgage plots on that land, i typicaly build 4 right off the bat as double housing each, also if ur land is infertile make large plots of houses over the top, it ignores the grounds fertlisation rates

Oh yeah, once you get to cascade labs and build jump pads out of gaseous nests... You can combine them with ramps to turn them into forward launching pads. You can even drive a vehicle or throw items on them to launch them.

Fun tip, for now the wall mounted lamps you craft defies gravity if you remove the support for it (it's wall lights), but it has physical collision meaning you can build bridges with many of them (basically grab cement blocks and build a foundation, then put a lot of wall lamps rotated sideways, then remove the foundation and the lamps will float) to make a floating platform that enemies can't melee but can shoot at. The bridge structure will check for 'surfaces' below it to build support to, and the wall lamp, vehicles, or even trams count as it will use 'anything' solid as a basis of the support. You can do some really funny things if you can trick the game.
