How good would it be if the United States, Myanmar and Liberia got with the metric system.

In WW2, a number of B-25s were equiped with 8 forward firing .50 caliber machine guns, making them the first gunship. Trying to bomb ships and Japanese air strips proved frustrating. Bombing from a safe altitude was too inaccurate. The strafing role proved very effective. Coming in at tree top level, the Japanese would not even detect them until it was too late.

Having seen several documentaries on the USS Forestall incident. All based on actual eye witnesses. The missile fired that started the chain reaction. Was fired by John McCain. He also had crashed 2 other jets in training. Due to pilot error. All incidents were covered us by his father. A high ranking Admiral. Upon being shot down and captured in North Vietnam. He gave the coordinates and heading of his strike group. John McCain was a notorious traitor. His selfish acts. Costs the lives of many American Sailors, Airmen and Marines.

My Father did some of the design work on the later models. He retired in charge of all Comercial sales to the middle east and Africa. I remember they had an A-4 in a small room. Inside the plant. The room was smaller than most people's living rooms.

I just watched a video about German soldiers in WWll prior to watching this video and wonder what causes humanity to be so gullible so as to allow themselves to be manipulated by an ideology, lies, and deception through propaganda? Is it possibly due to an overall ignorance of the truth?

when the Mustang first came out what type of engine was in there? why didn't they just use the British Rolls Royce engine far better. or was it because it wasn't fully American?

I've noticed that most of the P-38 videos don't cover the field modification pioneered by Charles Lindburg, and adopted by the AAC, to greatly increase range and loitering time of the P-38.

Can any one tell me what the aircraft is in the thumbnail. It looks to either be a single engine turbo prop or a jet and reciprocating combination of engines. Sadly it was not mentioned in the video at all.

Just an FYI... There is no amount of G's that an Apache or any other rotatry aircraft is able to pull that comes anywhere close to a fighter jet.. Time on station or in battle wears on anyone, but pushing the Apache (etc) to its max.. You'll lose your blades if not the entire hub / swash system before you so much as start to grey out.. Sorry.. Probably irritating facts getting in the way of a good yarn..
