I am very surprised it wasn't a "whistle while stealing a horse", seeing how that's the most optimal thing to happen in-game. Then again, you can become overpowered in the intro and just slaughter almost everyone standing in your way

The final Jed scene is actually smart, that you can get the same result either by being good and accentuating the good and showing compassion, or you can get the result by being cold and unempathetic and direct. It is like that in life often too, and if you are the type of person struggling with these decisions, in the end, if you choose the latter, you get the same result, but you feel shitty about yourself afterwards. Honestly, this scene explains the true value of being decent even in the hardest of times for emotional/decent people - it's not about showing others you don't take any shit, it's about not hurting yourself and your conscience by being shitty. Leave that to shitty people.
