I paid $450.00 total for this one shipped to my door. Most others that I looked at were $500+ shipping. Artillian was $600 + $250 shipping. $850 total!

We hit two big rocks. Pulled the auger out and used a spud bar and busted them up. That’s the beauty of it spinning slow. It won’t torque your front loader suddenly. I was still able to drill each hole in under 2 minutes with the added down pressure.

I disagree. I hit several rocks, large rocks. The auger spins slow enough that it doesn’t torque at all. Backed the auger out and broke them up with spud bar. Then back in business. Thanks for watching!

Time lapse drilling was awesome, I was totally surprised how slow it was in real time. But still a great way to go if a auger is available to you , and the slower rpm is no deterrent at all. Thanks for enlightening all of us. PS nice hat!
@TripleTAcres
@TripleTAcres 16 күн бұрын
Heck yeah! It definitely spins slow, but it definitely felt like we were getting a lot done. If you watch the time it took on the real time, it took less than 2 minutes for a hole. Still very efficient! Thanks for watching!

How about changing the way you mow your water's edge bow, putting the lane shack in the offset position and drive in towards the pond back up. Move over, drive in towards the pond back up and then keep doing that instead of trying to ride the water's edge. Think outside the box. Thinking that you have to drive drive the edge. I hope this helps.

@TripleTAcres nice I'm on the fence about getting one. I bought a property with an older pond on it. But I just watched a video where a guy killed his 3 acres pond using an aerator. The watermeal has gotten bad this past year
@TripleTAcres
@TripleTAcres 21 күн бұрын
@tractorboys716 if you slowly introduce the aeration day by day it shouldn’t do that. For example turn the pump on 15 minutes the first day, 30 minutes the next, 60 minutes the next and double it every day until it’s 24 hours. That should keep a fish kill from happening. Thanks for watching!

Now that is very cool!! I have wondered about this very adaptation! A few questions come to mind. 🤔 Is your tractor similar in size to a Kubota L series or a JD 2,3,4 series? What is the rated hydraulic gpm (not including the power steering pump) of your tractor? Thanks for posting this!
@TripleTAcres
@TripleTAcres 21 күн бұрын
Thanks! I thought so too. It is compared to the Kubota L 3901, JD 3 series. My pump output is 8.3 gpm.

Are you talking about a fountain? A fountain is better than nothing, but it is no match to a subsurface aerator. Subsurface aerators move way more water and brake water stratification. They also add more dissolved oxygen in the water.
