Turquoise is my favorite, followed closely by dark purple! I think Colorverse sparkling hayabusa is the best of that category

Hmmmm......My second favorite color of ink must be turquoise. In particular, I really like the Sailor 50 States New Mexico Turquoise ink. Being a New Mexican, I personally think Sailor got it just right! Of course, any variation, such as Private Reserve Blue Suede is also an acceptable choice. Looking at the small "ink store" I have on the bookshelf, you'd think my favorite is rainbow, and you'd be almost correct. The blues do outnumber almost any other color, so I must like blue best. Interestingly, when looking at my fabric stash (I'm a quilter), greens dominate. Go figure! Thanks for another great show.

I want this pen! It’s gorgeous and it has my kind of color and with my preferred gold trim! Plus it has the nib I have a preference for, 21k, so everything I want. But I’ve just bought two pens! How can I justify another :(. I now have five pens, more than I need!!! Will it write better than the two Pilots I just bought, a 723 in Verdigris and an 845 in Vermillion???

Wow! That’s a hard question. I had to go back to my currently inked notebook to see what I’ve been inking my pens with. Right now, I’m liking dark rosy reds (reds on the pink side). So gorgeous! Thanks for another fun episode!

My second favorite ink is Diamine Raise a Glass. The dark purple with iridescent sparkles are great. I just have to use a more forgiving pen.

2nd favorite ink is blue, a lighter blue.

After green, my fav is pink. In the 1st group, Monteverde California Teal; in the 2nd, Laban Aphrodite. Both have great flow 👌

Greeny-Yellowy-browns shading inks are my second favorite color inks. Pinky-brown shading inks are my favorite inks... No shimmer inks for me... I only have a few shimmer inks... Sheening inks are ok too but not too much sheen inks need to dry longer on Tomoe River Paper planners and notebooks...

As of today, July 19, 2024, at 3:45 CDT, it is Noodler's Air Corp. The bottle describes it as "blue-black," but to me & everyone to whom I've shown it, it's a unique black/green shade. Irushuzuki kon peki has been #1 in my book for a couple of years and my #2 tomorrow might not be the Noodler's ink. I'm sure you can relate.

I do my best to rotate my inks as well as my pens. My second favorite is "Flapjack Octopus Orange" from Anderillium Inks. It always brings a smile when I use it. I think of it as an Ink version of an Emoji.

My favorite ink at the moment is Taccia Koiame, a nice orange/brown. Second, right now, is Kobe #7, a deep blue-black.

I really like light pink/almost blush inks like sailor fugi-sugata, so that's probably my favorite range, for second favorite maybe a nice green or blue, like maybe organic studio nitrogen or sailor studio 760

Brown is my second favorite, it’s near enough to my favorite of yellow

After blue, my next favorite is probably green…Diamine Sherwood Green, Noodler’s Zhivago, or split the difference between blue and green and go with Diamine Aurora Borealis.

Favorite is Yama budo, second fave is pink (tsutsuji). I work in finance and I use whatever color I want. No one's going to tell me it isn't business appropriate.

My all-time favorite ink has gotta be vintage Parker Quink washable brown in the Art Deco ribbed bottles. Second would be a tossup between Diamine Registrar's Ink or any emerald green. (Third might be pretty boring but my first ink: Sheaffer Skrip blue-black. I've really gotten into much of the more standard traditional inks. I've discovered no one but me notices anything that has shimmer, shading or sheen. And standard keeps me from chasing fad inks.) Suggestion for a topic: what looseleaf, note pads and envelopes that play nice with fountain pens do you carry? Including cards. It'd be nice to showcase, as everyone and their cat covers notebooks and journals, but the writing papers for letters and such are regularly ignored.

I'm still kind of new to the variety of inks and ink colors. Right now, I would have to say Diamine Oxblood is probably my second favorite, right behind Diamine Writer's Blood. Thanks for another entertaining episode.

My second favorite ink (at the moment) is Mystic Forest by Alchemy. You mentioned the upcoming Ice Cream Day and that brought to mind a belgian waffle mix I've been using lately, Krusteaz has a churro flavor which would be spectacular with ice cream. The mention of Dairy Queen also was a walk down memory lane as it was one of my first summer jobs back when calories didn't count. Just as a point of information, the Dairy Queen soft serve was actually an ice-milk product with a slightly higher fat content than other soft serve mixes. I still cut my bananas in the style from my training at DQ. And the mention of the A-10 made my heart skip a beat as I think it was one of the most impressive and devastating tools in our military tool box.

My second favorite ink color is a good shading turquoise.

My second favourite fountain pen ink colour?! That’s a toughie!!! Although I don’t write with it (99.99% of my fountain pen use), I’d have to go with Platinum Carbon Black ink. I have it in my Pilot CH92 M for drawing. It’s water resistant and I use it along with my watercolour paints to create artwork. I absolutely live it!

My favorite inks are a nice color with a contrasting sheen. That gives extra interest to the color and the writing experience.

Blue - So many great and practical options.

Blue/Black is my second favorite ink. Brown (Diamine Chocolate Brown) is my favorite to use in my journal as it flows really well and works with all of my pens.

My first ink color is black. My second depends on my mood at the time - it can be a blue black, a blue-Teal or a purple/violet (like diamine lilac nights or Oster's purples - Oster has so many great purples).

I am a sucker for anything in the pink 🩷family but a close second is orange 🧡. Both hues lend themselves to beautiful shading which is my favorite ink attribute.

I like green inks so much that it's hard to think of a second. If I go by what i have in pens, it'd be blue, but I will say brown. I like my earth tones and a good brown makes me happy (and a bad brown (pink tones) makes me sad).

Blues / turquoises are my favorite colors. Second would be a nice brown as long as it stays away from orange (brown needs to be brown and orange needs to be orange)
