I watched your master roshi video and didn't believe the subscriber count! Your videos are by far the best dragon ball analysis I've seen by far. Keep up the great work! Krillin was always my favorite to be honest and have always felt I was most like him in every day life! Can't wait to see more of your content and who you have next in line! @@lukasovysilenosti I personally dislike the English dubs but I’ve already promised to people who’ve commented that I will include subs in all clips moving forward. Sorry for the lack of English subs as I generally have all the stuff in Japanese for myself. Again, I’ll be adding subs as well as using both Japanese and English names for characters that have different names abroad.

Roshi got sidelined so bad in dbz. Nobody remembers when goku went to see roshi in the past, when roshi attempts to seal king piccolo or any of the jackie chun shit.

@@willlauzon3744 he did but there’s a really great moment in Z, I believe it’s during the Saiyan Saga where he states that he wishes he could help but feels so powerless. He was definitely fully retired by the time Z rolled around. As for not remembering, I think a big issue is at least overseas - in the states especially - Z was the first show to air and tends to be the main one fans talk about. Which is a shame because the OG series is great!

You know if you’re making a video for American audiences you should use the American names, it’s the flying nimbus and the ox king, and English dubs for clips.

@@nimbus3218 I respect your feeling but I know plenty of overseas fans who either prefer the Japanese dub or are fine with either. For those who swear by the English dub, then perhaps my content isn’t for them. One thing I will rectify moving forward is the use of subtitles on the clips as well as using both names for characters where the names are different.

on a side note i still ship goku and bulma after the time skip when none of them didn't know it was goku and chi is better off being a side charactor BUT DONT GET ME WRONG i dont like her cuz how she yells at goku and treats him its just that bulma been around through most of his life and adventures which makes better sense then chi chi poping up out of no where and say MARRY ME !! lol

Great video, if you can could you use footage with subtitles it’ll give more weight to the points you make, most of your upcoming fanbase probably won’t speak Japanese. Not a huge problem for me because I’ve watched this show so many times I already know what’s being said.

@@Japaninhimself if you check the website for Solid Edge Works you’ll see most are quite bland. Just a character walking in place…no special pose. There are a few that have come out already and next is a Super Saiyan 2 Gohan and a Cell(perfect)

My favorite all time moment might be Vegeta’s beam struggle with Goku from the saiyan saga. It’s the first time we see an attack in Dragon Ball where the whole planet is on the line from one attack. Galick Gun vs Kamehameha was my wallpaper for years, bro.

Not a badass moment but great character moment, was in Vegeta's dying breath, begging Goku to defeat Freeza on Namek. It was the first time I felt sympathy for Vegeta as you saw how Freeza was responsible for the way Vegeta turned out. I think this was the first sign you get of Vegeta's redemption.

This figure looks great. Wonder how much this D level prize is at Akihabara or Nakano Broadway. The last figure is kind of a disappointment. Why is this a mix of cell saga and some saiyan saga?! The past lottery’s were more focused with their themes.

Love the video. Very open and honest and heart warming. Goku swearing like a sailor In those VHS copies had me laughing. DB started my love for Anime. Strengthened my love for Japan. We met because of card games. MBC. I remember watching DB early in the morning on one of the local channels. I was on vacation in Florida. They only played the Pilaf saga on repeat. Months later I’m home in Chicago at my local sun coast video. I see the Arrival VHS tape. I get my mother to buy it. That’s it. My fandom increased higher than Kaio Ken x 20. There was a kiosk that sold Chinese bootleg figures. Bought I bunch of these. Folders. Cards. There was the Dragon ball PSone game Final Bout. DB will forever be a gigantic part of my life.

Ahh, Suncoast! That brings back memories. That’s where I used to go to buy not just VHSs but other merch as well. I actually got import PlayStation games back in the day from that comic shop and had to get a converter that used a metal piece to hold open the tray- crazy but was fun to play DBZ games at the time. And yeah, wanted to mention so much more - including MBC!

Came from another KZfaq video. Film is great dude. Sound isn't too bad. I actually want to know what you used for it as i feel its quite clear...just a little echoey inside. I still use my phone for video and audio and not long purchased a couple of mini mics. Did you do some of the audio (conversations) in post? Well done with the film though dude. Also what camera? Lol

Thank you so much for your comment. I’m not sure on the details for the audio equipment used. We only re-recorded a handful of lines that just had too much background noise or didn’t come out clear. The exterior stuff was the main issue. The camera was a Blackmagic pocket cinema camera 6k(thing is a beast for such a little camera).
