I can see you’ve come along way, and offer great advice, thank you. But it still seems your affect is depressed.

Love this video JT! The aggressive language at certain points was so so necessary! I feel the frustration with the way things are currently seen / understood by the majority. To extent the metaphor, movement and exercise is like a gentle outbreath encouraging the spark to become an ember and an ember to become a flame.

Glad that the assertiveness landed well here on KZfaq. I try not to swear or be to aggressive on this platform, so it's good to see that the shadow work library material is well received - I likewise think it's important to bring that passion through.

I appreciate this video, it's helped me to see I am indeed doing better than I realised, and areas I could do with some more work on. I appreciate you talking about the difference between the 'comfort zone' and being comfortable. For many years, decades maybe, I didn't realise that I didn't feel safe when I relaxed and so ended up very burnt out with various health conditions. It's ongoing work to recognise and honour my body's/minds cues for rest.

SOMATIC EXERCISES, particularly TRE (Trauma Release Ex.) by Dr. David Berceli is/was just life changing... and I have been doing daily for 7 months... and life is returning to my body. The first 2 months were heavy because TRE brought up the terror/ deep fears I had into surface... and if you do not resist... you feel a different person next day. Like magic. Like a dark cloud being lifted. Healing requires support the whole being, body, mind, heart and soul. Thanks for the video.

I highly recommend 'Ofdrykkja - Beyond the Belt of Orion'. It is basically a poem about introspection. I lack words to decribe its beauty.

Love your videos Jordan. You’re the voice of healing. It makes me think about a meditation I go back to. Where she says “your pain will heal the world”. You’ve suffered but that made you strong and sensitive to understand this state of mind with a certain distancing.

The algorithm blessed me with this video today. I found it inspiring, thought provoking, challenging, and it made me feel so unaccomplished. I'm 45. I'm interested in philosophy, psychology, spirituality and more and haven't explored them anywhere near as much as I would like and probably not even a quarter of what you have. I don't have to look far to see the themes from my childhood of inferiority, inadequacy, not following my interests. To be fair when I look back I've come a long way. Thanks to psychotic episodes I succeeded in stopping my addictions to dr*gs and alcohol. Then thanks to physical health challenges I succeeded in overcoming my addictions to cigarettes, sugar, various foods. Than thanks to starting to become more self aware and some really toxic & challenging relationships I overcame my addictions to s*x and relationships. Along the way I found John Ruskan's book Emotional Clearing and it's helped me profoundly to dare to go inwards and to work through my backlog of emotional material. It's helped me to develop the level of consciousness and awareness I've gotten to now. I'm so grateful to not be living in the dark hells I lived in previously. Thank you for sharing your experiences and for your work you've uploaded here!

At a superficial level, yes. But it can have roots and expressions across the four F types when you really go deep into it. Depends on the maladaptation.

Loved this video. For me going to the gym, doing HIIT classes, doing a yoga teacher training and going on hikes were the biggest healers, also yin yoga for emotional release. I still struggle with being able to cry and to release those emotions - any suggestions? :)

Martial arts is probably the next best step for you somatic training. I've seen incredible things done for both men and women with kickboxing, muay thai and mma overall. Even 2-3 months could be powerful for catharsis. In terms of crying in a softer way, consider mirror gazing work.
