I am not afraid to say that I liked the 3rd one (the Burgin) the most. I feel that a Weissenborn should deliver the fullest, most balanced and richest tone ever possible. The rest is up to the player. He is in control of (and responsible for) all that huge tonal wealth. Oh - and thank You for making this video!

I just ordered the same one today from John. He (and his wife) are now in Franklin NC. I've had a couple of lengthy conversations with John since I started the process and he's a pleasure to talk with. The tuners are Goto and the pickup is Ultra Tonic. I can't believe how beautiful this is.

When I was litle I used to go to a music school for piano and since I have slim and long fingers my piano teacher always told me to try either violin or guitar. It's been a while since then and honestly through out the years I lost my passion for the piano and overall stopped playing. I recently by accident found that teacher and we talked for a while and she once again mentioned her old advise. My best friend actually used to play the guitar so when I asked her if I could borrow hers she gladly gave it to me. I just so happened to stable across your video and honestly every time I watch one them I get reminded of that same passion I had for music those years back. Thank you so much for inspiring me to try once again, I'll try my best to one day play as good as you

Great guitars! I have his OM-18 style and love it. Same configuration. I've grown to prefer well executed bar frets. Mine has the banjo tuners. Pretty amazing.
