I repaired it by pressing F and having the Oil Well Core in my backpack which I made in the machining table. Then I connected the oil pump to a nearby battery table I built, made sure I had a charged battery equipped to the battery table, and then went up to the blue barrel part of the oil pump, hit E to use, and pressed the Turn On button at the top of the main interface. Hope that helps ☺

The most recent update 0.0.8.0 had some optimization for this issue 🥳 It’s not where I think we all want it yet, but at least they are working on improving the bumper car effect.

A thermal generator is a good idea, I think I could do that once I get some more simple parts. The clay furnace I didn’t think of but that is perfect. I guess I could also just throw logs on it as well. 🙏🏻☺️

@@313VeeGamingIf you have the resources to do it having something to charge the batteries is useful. I had a fuel generator and eventually a solar array at my first oil well. When I found out I could pump all of the oil I need with 1 industrial battery I didn't bother building any power source at my new oil well. I did add a second battery table at the base and 2 thermal generaors at the base just to charge batteries.

The field across the street is a decent spot. A little dangerous with all the friends there who get easily scared and run out, though 🤣 Do you usually let the oil go and run out the battery or do you grab what you need when you need it?

If it overflows, where does the oil go? There are 3 access points to get the oil, so will it pile on the ground by the blue barrel or somewhere else 🤔 I figure since it is so fast, letting it run out the battery when you have the bag space/base storage isn’t a terrible plan.

@@313VeeGaming It should go out on the ground like when you put too many logs in and make planks they pile up on the floor. I've never tried it so that's just an assumption. Until now I had a continuous power supply so it would have just kept pumping. I have thought about leaving it running before but, never did it.

@@313VeeGaming I don't see what it would hurt. The last time I got oil I filled 6 storage chest and almost run the battery out. I don't see why you wouldn't get pretty much the same amount with an industrial battery.

@@313VeeGaming I guess it doesn't hurt to have a treat every so often. It took a long time to get to 9% body fat. I'm gaining weight and maintaining the same body fat in Scum. It doesn't matter what I eat in NoS.
