If our system utilizes the CAS services, wouldn't there need to be an assigned DHCP address, DNS entry for that address, and communication to the domain controller for those services to work?

A bit late, but if you use "Save and Continue" instead of "Save" you don't get kicked off the current page but your changes are still saved.

I as an end user can no longer call my health plan 800 #. According to SOMOS my health plan uses a company who currently reserves that number. That co. they use will not talk to me as I am not their client. My health plan thinks it is my phone carrier-I have a landline. How do I solve this so I can call my health plan. I do not know if the health plan is a resporg.

How do I set triggers for an abandoned calls for a particular dnis to send it to Workflow and set participant data to show the result in the interaction's --> Details --> Participant Data view if the calls were abandoned after the service level target? Haven't seen any video on the internet that describes ways to configure Workflow. How do I Save & Test my triggers?

Great content! We use Thirdlane Multi Tenant PBX integrated with Microsoft Teams, and it works flawlessly. We switched from 3CX and couldn't be happier!

Hello Tom ..If I may give you a bit of constructive recognition. This is just from my observation and in case you didn't realize.... Tom....You say "umm" A LOT!! Please allow me to give you an example and put it into perspective for you. In the first 6 minutes of your presentation/training you say "UMMM" roughly 30x's. At 225 into your training you LITERALLY say "UMMM" 5x's in roughly 20 seconds. I just wanted you to know so then you can choose to be aware.... Do Cloud customers have the choice to make knowledge prompts static in the UI so agents don't have to turn the feature on? Also, what is the avg turnaround time on auto-summarization of interaction notes? I notice he says a few minutes toward the end there, but this is the AHT time we would hope to save by deploying such a feature.

I appreciate your sharing of the release notes. I find Inflow CX's approach of involving developers and business teams in understanding Genesys' efforts to enhance their product quite appealing. I've set up the Conditional Group Routing, but unfortunately, the routing logic is not functioning as outlined in the documentation. I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide a working scenario in your upcoming videos.

At 14:21 , I am unclear as to what happens if EWT is 30 seconds. I get that it says that the 3 groups are deactivated , and rule 2&3 are not evaluated. What happens next ? Does the call sit in limbo or does it use any routing strategy ?

18:54 Efax is garbage & doesn't work not only are you sending Privalaged documents to a third part where anyone can get access even when it violates the law. But half the time they don't work unless you pay 100+ monthly just for a VOIP fax. It makes sense now why Doctors are refusing to accept Faxes now because many of them are Efax which violates laws. This is destroying the poor thats for sure. But i suppose it gets them around laws like your right to your medical records & getting help from more experienced professionals who don't live near there. If i had a phone i would sue the FCC, Because A) I don't think the FCC which works for Business's solely, has the ability to shut down a company noneless a service. Protections for that company & such sure. B) Its going to Destroy Business's profits. C) It makes a huge swath of people phoneless & Having no way to get help or anything else. It also gives crime a advantage by making it impossible to know where the crime is happening or the Emergency actually is. ; This is most Certainly Cable & Internet Company's trying to get business, No one in there right mind has VOIP phones because they are garbage. You have no access to help in emergency even when you do they have no clue where the emergency actually is. & if the power goes out you have no way to contact anything. Your cell phone is the next best bet, but again in a emergency if it dies or the signal gets blocked your beat, In Emergency's they have no clue where you actually are to get you help just like with VOIP. Thats just the most important aspects of a phone. If the government is going to take it on there behalf to get rid of telephones, Than i think they should have to provide it themselves free of charge or a significant discount. As far as price it doesn't really matter that much because before the internet they were already jacking up bills just like cable company's (usualy are the cable company's now) into crazy prices to begin with. I looked into the price & its roughly the same as it was in early 2000's might even be cheaper in some cases since company's do want business. As far as price though agreeing to a price when you sign up is technically a contract so its not like they can just increase it whenever & however without you taking them to court & suing them. Now to all Phone Providers i know how you can cut prices & profit at the same time. You will not catch the U.S. Government using non analog lines which tells me maybe they actually want the phone lines all to themselves? If oyu Charge the Government 700% more to make sure they pay for thier ignorance you can charge consumers 650% less & still continue profiting. Because the government will never ever use non Analog tech because its easier to secure & to keep safe. Digital systems can be hacked, shut off, destroyed, you name it. Perhaps thats what it is, the government wants to be able to listen to any Phone Conversation at will without people knowing or without them needing warrants to do so. Which they already do with Cell & Internet companies both freely & without anyone knowing. Although technically those company's are acting as part of the government when they do so, which might open them up to Civil Rights Violations, Since many of them are contracted to act as the government & for them in many cases. I think there's going to be a bunch of lawsuits coming over the years both the government & the companys acting as the government. Its really crazy honestly.

TO add to it since the government is making the lines useless, i think they might be liable for removing the lines free of charge. Something i might look into. Because most places have them & if they are not going to be used than it negatively effects the power. So its not like you'd want it just sitting around.
