Did you do anything to remove grease for the pin sleeves? Before installing new ones with heat shrink?

Purchase new ones. Or use isopropyl alcohol to clean the old ones

Do you have to neutralize the vinegar after you clean it? I tried using vinegar on a really corroded battery pack and I mean blue corrosion was the color of the battery leak. I didn’t work gloves, unfortunately, but it did not come off. I never use baking soda and water to neutralize the vinegar, though I just use some water and a damp cloth.
@JHTCКүн бұрын
That should work. just water and a damp cloth.

I have a leak at the external high pressure clamp connection tube body. May I know how to repair it? Is it possible to apply an external clamp to reinforce it?

you could just look up the part online and then order the new part. Mine only cost around 12 dollars.

What's the point of the double sticky tape? In my experience, heat shrink tubing stays in place just fine by itself.
@JHTC9 күн бұрын
The rollers wiggle around loose in the hinge. I wanted to bind the heat shrink to the pin.

@@JHTC FYI you can get HS tubing with adhesive in it. It seals very tightly, to the point of being difficult to remove.

Any tips for how to fix an unvented toilet with the pipes cemented into a block wall? When I had the house built 15 years ago, Ecuadorians didn't yet know about venting plumbing.

Just bend the roller track at the joint near the turn and you can pop individual rollers out without having to remove brackets. You must unhook the carriage to do it that way though.
@JHTC8 күн бұрын

How concerned are you about runoff? This is a great solution (and permanent, eventually), but I worry that it would kill the lawn along the edges of the walkways or driveway.
@JHTC8 күн бұрын
It doesn't disturb the grass at all. That is if you don't spray the grass.

It's often the pipe diameter that is the limiting factor, not the pump, in determining gallons per hour of filtration. But you may have accounted for it

Have been wanting to make our garage door quieter for years as our neighbors have commented that ours is so loud. followed your tutorial to the "T" (ordering the recommended parts, etc.), and properly lubricating all components (per another YTube video).Unfortunately the new rollers (with the shrink-wraped tubing) ended-up to large to fit into several of our hinge holes on our brackets (so I had to cut the tubing away on several of them). The noise was actually greater after I completed the work! Alot of waisted time and money. I now believe (as my wife suspected!) the greatest contributor to the noise is the garage door opener motor and the chain! 😫😫
@JHTC8 күн бұрын
I'm sorry about that.
