Hi Phil Just the other side to do now and I can start getting it ready for paint. Yes it has a whole for a starting handle but there is a VW Lupo radiator in the way and no starter dog on the crank pulley nut. Still looks good though !!

Thanks Andy, it’s pretty good paint and quite tough as I’m finding out with the polishing 🤣💪but very pleased with the finish. I uploads a photo yesterday on the minortinkinkering instagram with the grille all finished and she looks so good 😊👍

hay thats looking ok , its surprising what turns up at the pound shop looks like really good paint , , ive got same problem with my bonnet needs welding same as yours did , ill have to buy a welder one day soon lol . 👍👍

Yes I love the paint, it seems very good. My only criticism is that a couple of the cans I’ve used have run out of gas whilst paint still left in the can, must grumble for £2.50 😀👍

What height did you end up using? 2” or the 4”?

It seems fine on the lower setting so 2” I haven’t had a proper drive yet but doesn’t bottom out now when I jump up and down on the rear 🙂👍 Thanks for watching😁 Best wishes Tim 🙂👍

axle nut was 30mm and wheel bolts 17mm AF. The brake calliper holder torx bolts are a bugger to get off, ended up using an impact driver.
