5hrs sleep per night. WOW I really struggled my first week 2hrs per night. It was awful. I'm now on day 10 about to wash my scabs off finger's crossed it all goes well. 🤞

Simon we are in the same situation hehe, i am 4 years after HT, hairline is still ok but on top is thining. I am not considering 2nd HT before any bold spots on top, with shock from surgery we can loose a lot of existing hair, so bold spots are the best for covering with new hair.

Hi Simon, I am on day 6 right now. My journey has been similar to yours so far. I was freaking out that the crown area lost all of the scabs really soon and wondered if I lost all my grafts but I see that this was the same for you also. Did the crown area grow as expected for you? Also, did you have any of the follow-up treatments where they draw blood from your arm and pull all the nutrients from it to then inject back into your head? I have had one of these injections so far. I suppose my main question is, how long did you wait following surgery to get back on Minoxidil/Finasteride? (You probably answered this somewhere in a video)

RE: The very important question about taking finasteride: I was on finasteride starting in late 30's and it worked. It was exciting. There was over a 70% improvement. However, it does not appear to work when one is in their 50's and beyond; The younger you are the better it works. And, it appears to make you grow hair everywhere, on ears especially, this is one side effect I have experienced now that I am in my 50s, but it started in my 40s...ugghh. Another possible side-effect is will it negatively affect your baby, as in will it cause birth defects when you decide to have children? I would recommend NOT being on finasteride for at least 6 months before deciding to have children. ; ) I will discuss this further in my upcoming KZfaq channel videos.
