I was at the mall the day it opened. Montgomery wards was the first store opened even before the mall was open to people.

San Bruno is a third world hell hole. Had to live there a few years with new wife then we moved to civilization (San Carlos)

This was my fave local place growing up until I was dragged away from my tri-valley home by force by my family in 1988... and I've been desperately trying to move home ever since. God, how I miss living in the Bay Area... 😢

Terrific Downtown area to cover in this awesome city. The music is really annoying after a couple of minutes. It became too irritating after a few minutes. Just a suggestion for the future. Very irritating. The first 20 seconds had great music and then this annoying-as-hell tune comes on makes someone want to flick this video off.

Many years ago, there was a young lady that I cared for that worked in this mall. She briefly worked at Emporium-Capwells, a department store that no longer exists. I think about her from time to time, wondering what happened to her... This video brings back lots of memories. Thank you so much for creating it...

I actually would recommend coming up with more "catchy" kind of titles- like for this video, it could be "The Original Hollywood: Home of Charlie Chaplin - Niles, Fremont, CA." I definitely think more people should see the amount of work you put in, so good job!
