I believe the man on the drums may be Cedric Burnside, his grandson. Imagine having your grandfather introducing you to the world of blues so early in your life. And then keeping his name, his music and his heritage alive for another couple of decades. Absolutely fantastic.

Cedric, Dwayne and the Dickinson family- North Mississippi Allstars, Mississippi Mafia- all a cycle of great players related by music, by blood, by performances... agreed, absolutely fantastic!!!

My American Dream, takin a flight from Europe to the feckin U.S.A and the Airport has to be south of the Mason Dixon Line. We will cherish the heritage and pride of the south, fuck racism. Blues Power for ever.

I had dozens of chances to see him live in the late 90s and never knew it. Drove by Junior Kimbroughs Juke joint a hundred times on Sunday afternoons and never knew to stop. Regrets! Glad to see this.
