Well thank you! I worked in radio for 5 years and as a freelance TV producer for about 5 or so back in my youth, but did voiceovers for EVERYONE that asked and begged in college. As for BattleTech being XCOM-y, yes, absolutely it's a bangin' turn based strategy very much like XCOM. I've got a bunch of XCOM 2 playthroughs back before the channel became WayTooLateTV (that I'm not too proud of, but c'est la vie) but it's VERY similar, just with huge robots, picking parts off the other downed 'Mechs to build up your own, and a freelancing career mode.

i've been following these guys since I was nine years old in 1991 and my aunt gave me a Cassette copy of "fear". If you like this song, I highly recommend you check out their other records. One of the most underrated bands from the late 80s and 90s. An amazing collection of records they have released with extremely deep heartfelt writing❤ they have a new acoustic album coming out in the fall which features re-workings of songs from their past albums and they have a brand new studio album coming out in 2025🤘🏻

Given the hell that his record label put me through for actually putting this video out, I think I've gotta take it easy on Tom Waits stuff from here on out, sadly. But he's an absolute LEGEND, with that voice and those lyrics and that SOUND. You're a lucky dog for being able to see him that night, that's for damn sure!

I’d definitely recommend you listening to the whole album!!! It’s so very conceptual and beautiful, the way the songs blend together in the same theme (Dante’s inferno and the descending circles of hell) but really you don’t even need to follow along to such extent, each song carries their own meaning and makes sense on its own while making the overall story… ah, it’s gorgeous listening, not a single song skip for me. (My favorites are First Time, Francesca, and Abstract) Definitely also recommending of course for you to listen to his first and second album too, if you ever get a chance. Every lyric he’s ever written is pure poetry but this album has to be the best he’s ever written, in my very humble opinion.

It never gets easier. I couldn't say "mom" for a decade. I grieved my father before he died many times. I just knew it was coming. You have been handling everything as best you can. You're thinking and that matters. You're planning - even if it's the little things. I've been thinking about you every day since this happened. I could not find the right words I wanted to say. I'm saying what I can now.

"I don't want to, but I have to". I've been feeling the same way for a few months. 72 crunches, 35 pushups everyday & 1:30 hours twice a week for my physiotherapy program where I do even more exercise. I'm 44 years old, in a wheelchair, eye patch on my left eye all from brain cancer in 2008. Keep pushing! A LOT of people will have something that totally changes their life (and all different scenarios) it's more about how that individual is going to deal with it. I'm cheering you on for something better than things are right now!

All the best, music always helps! I had stage 4 brain cancer in 2008, 6 days after my 28th birthday. My favourite band, Foo Fighters, released the album "Wasting Light" in April of 2011. I've been in a wheelchair ever since, I can walk with a walker or stand as long as I can hold onto something or someone. I started walking with a walker in my physiotherapy daily sessions when that album was released & the single "Walk" was all over the radio. I was in a bad place mentally. New Foo Fighter music brightened my spirits. My wife bought the CD the day it was release, took it home & put it on my iPod that I had with me at the Hospital/Rehab Center. Keep your head up, things always have the potential to get better!

Neat explanation, I tried using this in frontlines and from the skill description I thought it meant I can affect a single target with the debuff and it lasts 4 seconds, rather than them having to hit me while I have that up.
@WayTooLateTV3 ай бұрын
Oh wow, blast from the past, old video but glad it's still helping! Yeah, when the power goes up, ANYONE that hits you gets painted with it for 4 seconds. Generally when people start getting painted, they scatter like the wind if they notice, because no one wants to be the keystone for the entire squad being sliced in half. The true test is deciding when that perfect time is to strike, when more people are grouped together and fewer have the debuff, or when more have the debuff but are potentially further apart and you won't likely get as many.

That's just wrong! There HAS to be a way to treat your pain long term? No one should be expected to have life long pain?!?! Maybe tell a 3rd party Doctor about EVERYTHING & maybe they'll be able to help you, I hope.
@WayTooLateTV4 ай бұрын
Heya. I've been through more doctors than you could shake a stick at, honestly. The ONLY way out right now is palliative care, which would remove the "Must see pain management doctor IN their office" stipulation, and would have them see me in my house, and would also remove the legal limits on pain meds that my Primary Care Physician has on prescribing me pain meds, that I run into the limits of every damn month because the pain is so bad, and I'm such a large person. I'm trying to medicate to just be FUNCTIONAL, but I haven't been even to just "functional" in over a year, if I'm being honest. I sit in my chair at night and voice chat with friends, and I'm just sitting here grimacing and pounding on the desk with my fist from the pain, knowing they'll never hear it because i have to push a button on my keyboard for the mic to open and them to hear me speak. But I've been denied palliative care from 12 or 13 places in the last month, because HS (my disease causing the most pain) isn't as well-known as something like, say, cancer... and the fact that I don't have a failing INTERNAL organ. The "INTERNAL" is the key stipulation point here, because the skin is external, and disqualifies me from the running. It's basically just getting caught in red tape forwards and backwards and falling through the cracks covered in the stuff. It's infuriating, or it would be, if I weren't so damn tired of everything coming crashing down for the last entire whole-ass month.

Stay strong! It's likely going to get worse before it gets better. I'm a stage 4 brain cancer survivor, I've been in a wheelchair & I've had an eye patch on my left eye ever since. Not the same of course but somewhat relatable? I've been exercising every day since I started my physiotherapy in 2009. I left my therapy program/hospital in July of 2012 & exercised at home. I'm now in a physiotherapy/exercise program for 1:30 hours every Tuesday & Thursday, while still doing other exercises at home Monday, Wednesday & Friday. You can do this! Anytime I feel depressed or defeated I tell myself there's always someone having a worse time than me. There's always someone having a better time than me too.....lets see if I can get there?
