He is absolutely right. My marriage was registered under this Act ... important for awareness, esp. if there are those getting into inter-faith marriage and do not want to convert. I felt absolutely safe - each of us continued to follow our own faith and did not feel compelled to understand details of the other's faith!

Splendid! Most people are not aware of this act, even the educated gentry. Moreover narrow-minded people are so many in number. I wonder what kind of people are they who're cursing a newly-wed couple? They're not happy themselves but don't show that always. However cynicism reflects in their words.

If a lawyer is registered with Bar Council of the state will he not be an advocate.... And if there is no examination for that Bar Council will he not get a state registration... And if an advocate is not enrolled with BAR COUNCIL OF INDIA will his state bar Council registration lapse??

You can basically go on directly doing with the registration firstly and start off practicing thereafter. But it is a compulsion for you to clear the bar examination with the minimum marks of 40% within a 2 year span..
