You need to manually scan for the wifi network of the device if you phone doesnt pick it up itself

I am in the same situation. The distributor keeps sending me firmware that doesn't work and I can't use it at all.

you need to connect both - bluetooth and wifi. Then it will work

@@rubnbel if reset to factory defaults does not help you may need to upgrade the firmware. My device became unresponsive (constantly switched to rear camera view and got stuck there). Mine works fine now but I have unplugged the rear camera.

You can find the firmware online. Since I use Mac it was difficult to create the mini sd card on my computer. I had to install VMware fusion and that did the trick
