Drug use isn’t directly related to poverty. Lots and lots of rich kids use drugs. I’ve seen drug users range from poor families to ultra rich. It’s an unfounded excuse. It’s a mental issue.

I think it’s part politic issue. Some people couldn’t cope with covid lockdowns and the propaganda. Also the federal government supports handing out hard drugs. And the fallout of shutting down the country and economy is healthcare cutbacks. The current US government is allowing mass immigration (also here in Canada) and these unvetted immigrants now have a pipeline to bring in drugs. Almost like the government wants this.

Not going to lie in this video it really hit me hard because I see it in my own town I'm living in I literally live about an hour away in Sussex and it's getting really bad here also especially with the kids they're mostly doing drugs and stuff now too.. It's a really sad world we live in.. And it really does have to deal with a lot of mental health stuff being cut back I deal with mental illness myself and I don't really receive what I need like a psychologist and therapist I've been on the waiting list for a new psychologist for a year now and come to find out the one I'm on the list for is retiring next month and I'm still not accepted so and sad you got to keep trying and move on and try your best to stay alive...😕❤️‍🩹

This is such a beautiful video, I go to high school in that area, and it's very very sad to me when I see unhoused people, addicts, and people who clearly aren't having life go their way, I have so many friends and people I know who are even as young as 15 who turned to drug abuse and sadly might just end up in the same situation. It's truly heartbreaking, and I really hope that our community can persevere and overcome this crisis, because we have amazing people who work for amazing non-profit companies who do their absolute best to help these people. Thank you again for making this amazing video, it feels good to know it's being acknowledged and shared, it might really help us make some progress

8 businesses threatened to leave uptown if the city didnt get rid of the homeless so they are using tax payer money to scatter the homeless throughout the city but setting up homeless towns in the middle of low income neighborhoods with 80% children and Fresh Start is helping them do it so they can apply for more funding because golly gee the problem is now everywhere. Sickening people

The petty crime thing you mention is new of the last 5 years or so. Of course there was always some; but it's really picked up - same with the cleanliness; use to be much cleaner with nicer landscaping etc; to me the city feels strained and overwhelmed and it's showing. "I haven't seen police radar in 3 years" They use to be very focused on traffic violations 5+ years ago; then what seemed like over night, no more cops at u turns on the highway, no more posting up on inner city streets with radar, etc etc. A lot of this stuff is recent changes due to population influx. You might see it resolve in years to come as the city catches up to it. Welcome fellow youtuber.

I'm someone who is living in Saint John, in a small condo unit I own, driving a vehicle I bought new a few years ago, and even used to travel a little. A couple of years ago I had a mental breakdown, panic attack or whatever it was... it knocked me on my ass. I barely leave said home now and my social circle is dwindling down to just my appointments. When I do go out, if it's not to dart in and out to run an errand... it's typically to disappear out in the woods on my own. To this day, I've yet to be diagnosed with anything while having ideas of depression, anxiety, panic attacks, stress, etc being thrown around. My psychiatrist came out and said it's simply my personality now and I need to just get back out there again. Sure, OK. Luckily I'm not on the streets (yet) as my life choices before hand has acted as a life preserver for now but I have a lot running through my head concerning my future. I say this to open some peoples eyes that not everyone spiraling towards living on the streets are drug addicts, welfare surfers or ex cons. There's too many people that are one slip up away from starting the process of joining them and falling down the ladder is a hell of a lot quicker than the process of climbing it. Would I lose my mind or start numbing my senses with drugs if I ended up losing everything? I don't know. I don't do drugs. Hell, I don't even drink but those ideas don't seem so far fetched when the shoe is on the other foot. There's soo many factors to this issue and it's been around forever. However it's no coincidence that it spreads like wildfire when ever the government keeps turning the dial up to see how far they can push their citizens. Even more suspicious when they aim to keep every drug on the streets. Almost like drugged out zombies are easier to brush under the rug than people with nothing to lose on a united front. Food for thought.

The real truth is you all need the Lord Jesus Christ and then when you understand the spiritual warfare behind the problem then you can go and you can learn how to pray in a effective way that it will drive out the curse that is upon the land because that's what it is it is a curse that somebody put their and because the Christians in your town do not understand warfare and spiritual means is Why it got to where it did Y'all need Jesus Christ

Play closed down loan water farm wow I wonder what it would take if a group of Christians got together and went and reopened it for the purposes of a christ-centered program that would actually work Study the statistics on it go look at the success rate of teen challenge in places who teach people the Bible in their programs I have 6 years sober thankfully to one of those programs who taught me the biblical meaning of life I wonder what it would take for a group of Christians to get together Henry open it and turn it into a crate center recovery program I'm going to look into that

Man I'm telling you I walked that road and I walked that lifestyle and I talked to people still who are stuck in this lifestyle daily I'm telling you I wish I knew how to get a hold of you guys because I would do my best to try to team up with you and go out to the streets and encourage people it would amaze you when you were jaw drop on how I would speak and how they would listen because I listen for God's voice and I only speak to these people what he puts on my heart to speak and when I do it this way and I don't just speak what I want to speak but I speak what I hear the Holy Spirit tell me to I see changes big time I'll tell you a little story and try not to comment too much more there was a man who had a girlfriend both of them were homeless for the longest time when I was in my addiction I used with his girlfriend before they were together we get high together needles for me when I get sober years after I run into him and met him and he was dating this girl they were living in a camp they built off the side of the highway Which was pretty cool but the only problem is the law keeps running them out so when he would talk to me I would encourage him and let him know how I overcome and how I was even worse than where he was at and I was and I encouraged him and told him that he will get sober one day I got a message on messenger from this man the other day he sent me a picture of his 7-month-old baby him and his girlfriend have their own home and they're sober today He said a lot of what I said to him is what encouraged him to make that move I didn't know that I was pushing him to do better when I spoke to him until he told me just the other day Never judge those people do you know how some of them people grew up beaten by their parents some of them women out there selling their bodies molested by their uncles and their dads and brothers and whoever would come in to do so and now she's become a sex slave on the street willingly due to her own pain to be able to pay for the addiction that blocks every drop of Angie feels and you go out and judge them not only judge them but actually pay them the money to sleep with you stop and think some people don't even do them drugs but you'll go and pay for the hookers on the streetwhen you don't even know the lifestyle that she once lived was nothing but abuse and you're just showing that girl that she's not wrong and what she believes of men You don't know the life somebody had before they ended up where they are now when you see them be very aware of what you say about them cuz one day it will come back on you do not be deceived every man will reap what he sows My brother's who are posting this video online I encourage you to continue what you're doing in God's time and I'll meet you in person❤

Msny in Saint John in that lifestyle know who I am because I was born and raised in Saint John I know a lot of the faces I'm seeing in this video One day I'll come back to St John and I'll open the ministry and it'll be a biblical bible-believing Ministry which will cause the streets to become cleaned up of addiction because we will bring Jesus Christ into the lives of the people and he is the only one going to change that problem that you got down there it was a flying biblical laws that has been keeping me sober for 6 years now I hit my first needle at age 17 and I did not stop until 34 I remember sitting in jail and thinking to myself 34 and I turn 34 in jail I turn 33 in jail I turn 32 and 31 all in jail and do you want to know something my birthday is Christmas Eve I truly got to call those years didn't I and I deserved it too Put one day God's going to send me back and unlike the church is you're seeing in your town today who have no power as it is written in the book of Acts you will see that power flow through the ministry I bring in to your town my old town I'm very aware of who the bigger guys are in St John and I stay clear of them at the same time I'm coming back one day in Jesus Christ is coming with me and we're going to clean up Saint John all in God's perfect timing and I'll teach you why your physical means are not going to help a spiritual problem This is spiritual more than anything else and when you begin to understand spiritual warfare and how to drive out the strong man that Jesus Christ tells us about that problem will not go away it will continue and it will get worse If you want to take what the devil has placed upon your land you must first tie up the strong man bind him and then you can go in and you can take everything he owns the hearts of the people stuck in addiction and oppression it is a spiritual problem and you're not going to fix it with physical means ever
@JimmyMagee-n8u
@JimmyMagee-n8u 6 күн бұрын
The main problem is people continue to try to fix a spiritual problem with physical means and you will never fix a spiritual issue with physical means You need to pray you need to understand spiritual warfare and understand how to pray against it and then when you drive out the strong man you will see a change and that takes a lot of time to an effort This is a spiritual issue and until you truly understand this the problem will grow worse

There’s two ways to view Saint John, if you’re in a couple with two incomes it’s a great place to life but if you work minimum wage things might be a little tough. Rent is getting 1400$ without utilities and if you have no transportation the busses might not be the best as you’ll probably need a transfer and the trip will take 1h plus going from west side to east end and busses close at 6pm on Sundays or some don’t run at all. So my opinion is if you have a good job it’s worth it but if you can’t afford to do the m.v.i on your car every two years or pay high property tax it will be a struggle.

speaking as a someone who was addicted to crack-cocaine in my past life, I'd have to say it was me just making the decision to quit for me and my kids. I was on the verge of loosing my husband and kids and I wasn't willing to go through that. I cried out to Jesus and asked Him to help me and He did! I thank Him everyday (21 yrs clean) that He plucked me out of the lifestyle I was living which would've put me in the grave. What I've learned is that help is there if your willing to go get it. you can't help someone who isn't ready. you can put someone in rehab all you want but if their not truly and I mean truly ready to get clean and change their life around it doesn't work. Resources are there for the one's who choose. My heart breaks for everyone who is under this addiction and I pray for them that they too will rise from this and ultimately meet the Man who TRULY loves them... JESUS CHRIST
