Whining Screaming Sobbing Les Paul that Noel can only get that incredible sound from. The effects pedal is so so good that god only knows why Noel’s not played this track live more. This track is truly a live classic but Noel’s solo is something magical & he gets that guitar playing like it meant to sound. Just incredible. ✌️👍✌️

I’m a fan of Oasis and of Noel’s talent as a songwriter, I’ve got a lot of respect for him and the music he’s made... but going into the pyschadelic jam area sounded forced and unnatural for Oasis. It’s just not their sound, even though Gas Panic is a good song. Listen to the full version of Come On by The Verve live at Haigh Hall with the added jam at the end and compare it to this. The Verve did this type of stuff in their sleep 1000 times better.
