One of my most played songs on last.fm, I love Stars and it's a shame they live in the shadow of Broken Social Scene.

This band is a ghost of what it once was in its origins :-( just sad now without the energy

We skipped the light fandango turned cartwheels 'cross the floor I was feeling kinda seasick But the crowd called out for more the room was humming harder as the ceiling flew away when we called out for another drink the waiter brought a tray ※ And so it was that later as the miller told his tale that her face, at first just ghostly turned a whiter shade of pale She said, 'There is no reason' and the truth is plain to see. But I wandered through my playing cards. and would not let her be one of sixteen vestal virgins who were leaving for the coast and although my eyes were open they might just as well've been closed.

I saw her at red ants pants festival’19 before the world fell apart … what a beautiful soul…. I listen to her music in some of the most hateful environments, known to human beings Thank you Valerie thank you so very much.

One of the greatest songs of the time, and an anthem of the '60s-early 70s. Saw these guys live Charleston, SC in 1973 - RIP Gary.

It was exciting when this band emerged. They garnered a lot of support and airplay in Chicago. It's too bad the picture doesn't match the era of the recording. (No Jay Bennett; different percussionist, different lead G player. )

Dream of a land my soul is from I hear a hand stroke on a drum Shades of delight, go, go, you Rich as the night, afro, afro blue Alien boy, beautiful girl Dancing for joy, delicate word Shades of delight, go, go, you Rich as the night, afro, afro blue Two young lovers by the fire Without having greys The jealous one is never wake To some secluded place Shades of delight, go, go, you Rich as the night, afro blue Alien boy, beautiful girl Dancing for joy, delicate word Shades of delight, go, go, you Rich as the night, afro, afro blue Whispering tree, echo the sights Passionate leaves, tender at lights Shades of delight, go, go, you Rich as the night, afro, afro blue In my slumbering fantasy Assumes reality Until it's not a dream To you and me Shades of delight, go, go, you Rich as the night, afro, afro blue

Can someone tell me what happened to this dude I heard he had some type of sickness this album helped me get thru some very rough times when I was younger I wish I could thank him hope he’s well and still making music
@glowerworm Жыл бұрын
He has crohn's disease. But he has had the illness for his entire music career, from Dilute to Okay to Howard Hello to Jacques Kopstein. It's largely the reason his singing voice is so distinct. So you don't have to worry too much. He has bouts of horrible health, where he is housebound, but he often still makes music then, too. As another example, Mr Beast also has Crohn's disease (although it seems to affect him a lot less, at least visibly), and he still has a very successful career, you could say (considering he's a millionaire).

Emazing Clan: his name is Marty Anderson, and he has severe Crohn's disease. He was also in the band Dilute, a great math rock band. Very different music than this, but extremely worth your time.
