Its understandable that Filipinos love Latinas. Most Filipinos have Spanish in them. The looks of Filipinos today is far different from Filipinos when the Spaniards came. The original Filipinos were dark skinned like the Aeta on Luzon Ate in Visayas and Bagubo/Manubo/T'boli in Mindanao. The brown skinned Filipinos were from neighboring country like Indonesia and Malaysia and the language has more in Bahasa. Those Filipinos who has fair skin were Spanish mixed blood. On the island of Cebu, the old folks still use Spanish language and they are comfortable using it than Tagalog language. The actresses who hails from Visayas like Pelita Corales, Anabel Rama and many more can speak Spanish fluently. Even the former president Gloria Arroyo can speak Spanish. In Zamboanga's dialect Chavacano is Spanish creole and their looks are more mestizas.
