Some of the comments here are quite funny so let’s address a few things. Firstly the video image is click bait “Nazis destroyed this city” this is not true. Yes the nazi leadership in Breslau as it was then did have some parts of the city demolished in order to facilitate its defence and this also included buildings already damaged by the soviets. But remember this was their city. Breslau was destroyed by the soviet red army for two reasons. 1. it was declared a fortress city by Hitler and with a fanatical leader Karl Hanke Breslau would be defended to the last man. 2. The soviets would shell the hell out of the city and sacrifice soldiers like animals moving street to street. (Interesting fact it was Ukrainians who sieged the city) There are a few comments about this city being destroyed by allies, just to confirm only the Soviet Union was involved, no British or Americans. So the comment about Indians is complete nonsense. Now about this Polish city being seized by the Germans. This is not true at all. So Wrocław was originally Polish however the last time the poles had complete ownership was in the 13th century and it was not lost by being “seized”, yep it was that long ago and whilst there was always a Polish community here it was a minority ever decreasing. Back then Wrocław consisted of the cathedral island and a small market square with wooden buildings it then went through various hands and ultimately became German, the old city before renovation that you see today is all German apart from I believe the Church of Saint Giles which is original and just as it would have been under the Polish rule. So all the expanded districts and buildings before 1945 are German. They made the modern city and what the Poles left behind in the 13th century is long gone. But to sum up and let’s keep it simple. Breslau is German and Wrocław is Polish their history is forever both entwined and created the amazing city we have today. It was rebuilt after the war and has truly developed since the end of communism, in the last 30 years this city has finally shown its true Polish identity.

wasnt destroyed by Nazis but by Indians, because they were allied to the Allies who did most damage there. Therefor Indians did that - ok, rather indirectly and not by physical presence and and and ... but still ... ;)

The Holocaust is just the latest and worst mass killing of Jews. Prior to it, around the turn of the century, 100,000 Jews were killed in Eastern Europe. These killings were known as pogroms. The rising anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial is proof to me that men are incorrigible.

The Nazis did not destroy this city, the Allies did. This was the former German city of Breslau and was formerly part of Germany along with Danzig and Konigsberg. Germany was a much bigger country, then WWI and WWII happened.

What was that nazi nation? Were they aliens from space? Before this city became Breslau , it had been Wroclaw for a few hundred years! lke other citis stolen by germans . 1945 was the end of german "Drang nach Osten" But not all lands stolen by germans were returned. Lands of Obodrice, Wieleti and Sorbs, are still under german occupation.

If it’s under 249gms you dont need a licence and you can fly if there is no airport within 5kms. I suggest to go to the locations really early in the morning to get drone shots. I generally do that to avoid disturbances

I bet that Germany is still feeling the guilt for the crimes that the Nazis had perpetrated against not only Jews but other groups of innocent civilians who victims. As Hans Frank once said during his trial for war crimes, "A thousand years will pass, and the guilt of Germany will still not be erased".
@nikhilchandra.g
@nikhilchandra.g Жыл бұрын
The older generation and the governtment feel the guilt. That is why they helped the Syrian refugees and now with Ukraine, the younger generation dosent want to be blamed for the sins of their elders. Either way nobody talks about this topic.

Thank you for this video. I've been wanting to see Krakow too some day. I would go to the same places you did. I have the same "interest" in those WW2 stories. We should not forget. I won't. I've even told my children about the Holocaust so they know what evil can turn into if allowed to fester inside us. We can not let hate take over our lives for any reason what so ever. Even if others choose to hate, that does not mean we can too. This is what it will turn into. Thank you again for this! May you continue in your life with love, beauty and freedom in your heart 💖
