There’d be no EV market without Tesla. Every legacy car maker and new startups (Rivian, Lucid) copied their ideas and designs including large touchscreens, minimalism, self-driving, battery tech. Tesla was the benchmark, the OG. I’d rather buy a Tesla (the most American-made car) than one made by Saudis.

I have the 2022 Lucid Air Dream. It’s valued at $200k. Awesome car but that’s where it ends. Keeping this thing charged up is a nightmare. I can hardly drive it. I have the home charger but it’s not strong enough. I have to purchase the kit installed in our walls for a faster charged.

The fact that Mr. Rawlinson is employing an African American in a key position encourages me to do three things- buy more stock, accomplish more, purchase my first LUCID. Thank you for this video!

Lucid cash burn at a rate of $700,000 a quarter with under $4B in cash left. Revenue was $172M for the first quarter, and they produced and delivered just over 1100 cars. The reason Rivian has VW investors is because they build it all in house just like Tesla. Lucid are still a concern, next two years we’ll see because the Saudis will at some point stop wanting to burn cash.

Aren't they Gigacast presses with molten metal? You will have to weld a lot of parts to make the rear sub chassis . Could you explain why they need so many successive presses instead of several equal and powerful ones that do all the processes in one.
