The expectation grows when those individuals talk big on matters in reaction streams, social media, and such. So when something happens, the audience would also expect similar condemnation in their reactions, or a good defense if they think differently. This time though is business-like opinion with small emotional bits, something people (creator & community) would typically scorn companies for for being inhumane. In certain cases, there were virtue signaling involved with relating the situation to "protected groups" which touch the buttons of people because no group should be more un-criticizable than others, especially when the person of the hour here does something much worse than a previous case various named personages were showing outrage on.

The more people you rub shoulders with in the industry, the more protection you'll get. Mr Beast (and therefore Chris Tyson) has relationships with every big KZfaqr and streamer including Poki/Rae/Lily/Ludwig/etc (as shown in Mr Beast's videos) while Dr Disrespect has less friends in the industry and streamed more solo. As a result, people like Poki/Rae/Lily would say nothing about Chris Tyson, while going full blast at Dr Disrespect. Just the way the world works.
