Thanks for this! Those paces sounds brutal to me. Would you recommend not taking this test if Im only averaging around 7'50 most runs? My most recent 10k time is 1:24. I mostly just want to know things like my vo2 max. I just dont want to get disappointed after doing a brutal test, only for it to not give me the data I want.
@ethansunseri
@ethansunseri 12 күн бұрын
If you are just looking to know your vo2 max there are other ways to estimate it by doing a submaximal test. If you do decide to do the fitness test on coros just make sure you keep doing the test until it tells you to stop, you'll likely get better data from the coros test becuase it's more personal to you. Also, they already will estimate your vo2 max in the app.

This is soo awsome Ethan, I love the way you show your love for sports, especially for swimming, keep going with these great videos! Anyway, I loved the peeing part, it was funny and hilarious. If it doesn't bother you, everytime you do a swimming themed video, you could include the funny pee times as well hahahha

Feel you, man. Athletes like yourself and Stephen Scullion(kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nruckrCq38jQf3k.htmlsi=eRljLPqlz1ejrIgW) make the sport open and more visible to others(its not all sunshine and rainbows everyday). I too feel them often in training schedule but it always pass and for you too, just like past hurdles/times you cleared/bettered in life. Thanks for being open about the struggles.

Very late to the party here, but I'll drop a comment anyway. :) First of all, thanks for the great review! I'm looking into getting a shoe dedicated to tempo training and speed work, on top of my existing daily trainer. I'd like something to do weekly intervals on the track (and maybe occasionally on the road). I'm after a shoe that'll make me do the work, exercise my muscles and improve my natural speed, so I'm not very interested in the modern state-of-the art racing flats that claim to 'add' speed through ultra-responsive midsoles, plates, etc. I'm looking into the Saucony family and like what I'm hearing about the Kinvara, Type A9 and Fastwitch. What is your opinion of this shoe in retrospect, in terms of durability, comfort, etc.? Thanks so much. :)

The drone work is back! I feel like you'll figure out wetsuit problems and transition technicalities over time. This is only your second tri so even though you might have an overwhelming amount of things you want to fix and change and feel like you have too many excuses just know its part of the process. You learn, you change, you keep going, you got this!

I greatly relate to the topics you often discuss in your videos. It’s uncanny! Sometimes I have a particular feeling that’s bothering me and I check out your channel and you have a video explaining how you’re dealing with that same feeling. Your videos let me know that I’m not the only one feeling that way and motivate me to keep pushing onwards despite adversity.

I think what makes your videos different from other running KZfaqrs is that you display your vulnerability. Other runners project this invincible persona and mindset, which makes me think that I don’t have what it takes to succeed. I bet they have similar troubling thoughts and feelings, but they don’t make them known fearing how it will impact their audience’s image and perception of them. Your content is so relatable because of your transparency with your feelings and emotions.
