How messed up is it that this man's home country turned on him after he lost his 2nd fight to Sugar Ray Leonard. Like anybody should feel ashamed or be disowned if they don't win every fight, or lose to one of the greatest fighters ever - after Duran won their first fight. People who cheer for you come and go, they are not your friends.

4 or 5 times on the button before the ref could get in there. Used to be so frustrating to hear some of my friends say anything but how much hand speed SRL had…..I don’t understand why they couldn’t give him his due. They’d say everything but how great he was in the ring. 😏 Would he have been able to crack Mayweather Jr’s shell? Both in their prime….who would win one and only match? I picked Hearns, Duran twice, and Hagler……I was a kid but underestimated him

I was born in the 1960s. For me sugar ray was the best pound for pound boxer I have ever seen. Note Muhammad Ali the best heavyweight.
