Why would anyone cut a tenderloin so thinly? I don't want that. There 's either no crust or massively overcooked center. Fail!

It's wagyu, it's cut thin to help while cooking and since it has a ton of fat, you really wouldn't want to eat a whole lot.

People don't generally eat an entire wagyu steak alone and that goes for meat eaters too. It's extremely rich. Basically beef butter
@joshuahollobaugh7382
@joshuahollobaugh7382 Күн бұрын
It's very rich and it's not even that thin. I've cooked 1 before and it came out perfect med rare with awesome cast iron crust. Waygu is unique in that it takes like no time to sear. My pan was a med high and 30 seconds on each side was plenty and perfect. I then pulled it when it felt right since I don't use thermometer and it was perfect. Would highly recommend

It pales in comparison to the 21lbs one, that you had awhile ago 🤤 your channel truly inspired me, I grew up my whole life, not having anything or anyone to aspire to, which ultimately landed me in a cascade of looking for "small hits" of happiness and always ending in despair. I found God late in life and got off of every harsh "bit of happiness" I could find. Got a good job in a meat department, and met great people. Something about the smell of meat in the cutting room, learning about all the cuts, finding your channel, watching everything y'all had to offer, and getting cheeky things off the menu in my department, like fat trimmings🤣 I've realized that if I went anywhere near a butcher reeking of steak at my early development stages of childhood, I would have known exactly what I wanted to be when I grew up. Your channel is truly amazing and inspiring to carnivores and enthusiasts alike. I hope you got to where you've wanted to be in life. I promise to try to get there too🤙🏻 I recently got screwed out of the meat cutter position, "because I'm needed in other departments" when I asked about it 😒 but it won't stop me🤙🏻
