this is - to date - the best edit i have seen of the show. it just grabs you in the same way that watching it does, emotions and all. Not a lot of people can do that in their videos. You've made a piece of art.♥

This is still one of the most profoundly beautiful and powerful series that I've ever watched. It really impacted me and it felt like the story was genuinely written to perfectly mirror my school/university life. It was like watching a film of myself through Connell.

Timothée captures the perfect teen Laurie. Laurie WAS a teenager for the bulk of the story. lol. Christian Bale and Winona seemed too old for the teen version. Sam looks to be a little too old too, should have picked a more elf-like Jo.

I think Maryann telling Connell “and we’ll be okay” was her way of saying that they would always have each other. Romantically or not, but I do believe they find their way back to each other.
